Connections.
One of the best ways to catch a thief. Connections. Just talk to people, if you got a picture of the thief, GREAT!

"Well what's the plan?" James asked. "Well I haven't planned much but I'm planning that first we are going to hack into the school's CCTV and that will be your job James." He replied with a simple, "Okay." Soon after I replied, "Then I'll take a look at the footage and go through the school's pictures of anybody who matches the thief."

Drea placed some of her hair behind her ear. "So what do I have to do?" Drea asked me. "I want you to stalk the people that are the suspects, just look around and see what is their daily routine." I responded. She nodded her head, "That's cool. Okay." Niña looked at me then asked "So what about me?" I thought to myself for a second. "You have connections, so I wanted you to find out the extra details about the suspects which we will soon have." She breathed in and as she exhaled she agreed and said, "Ah okay yeah sure."

"So everyone has a role, except Rhed and me? What do we have to do?" Drew asked me with a worried voice. His voice made it seem like I was going to make him do something that he'll regret. "I want you to dig up rumours and find out if they're true, the rumours about the suspects and build up a profile." I told Drew.

"Rhed. Have you finished peeing?" Drea asked sarcastically while laughing. "It's obvious and I bought drinks." He said as he gave us each a drink. "We were just talking about our roles." Niña told him. Rhed took a sip from his drink before asking me, "So what's mine?" "I want you to find information from people online and in person, about the suspects." Rhed glanced over at the clock on the wall, "Okay. So when do we start?"

I thought to myself, when do we start? "I guess now." I told them. Rhed looked at me with the expression I-thought-you-were-smart, "Hey." I looked over at Rhed, "What?" Rhed sighed, "Where are we gonna do all this mess, that you call investigating?" I sighed back at him, "Rhed, keep up with attitude and I will actually tell mum how many girlfriends you had this year and get all of them to go to your birthday party." He had a mini tantrum. "Fine."

"Oh, to answer your question, we're doing it in the clubhouse." I say as I run my fingers through my hair. "So," James started talking, "Am I suppose to get my laptop and do my thing?" "To answer to your question, Yes. I think we all need to get our things and start." I say as I stand up. "Why don't we go to my house? I've got the biggest room out of James, Rhed and I, so we can chill there."

Everyone agreed.

We got to my house and we went to my room. James brought his laptop and he started hacking into the school's security system. It was getting quiet so I asked Drew, "Drew, you're good at digging up rumours and finding out about people's profile, right?" He took a second to reply, "Uhhh, yeah I guess." "Okay. So I'm planning that once we get into the cctv videos of the school, we can find a good and decent person and you can find out rumours and that person's profile."

I say as I stand up to get a notebook. Niña looked at me, "what are you doing?" I replied, "Getting a notebook" I sat down on the floor but close to the bed. "I got in!" James exclaimed. We all gathered around the bed where James was sitting with the laptop. "So you've gotten in, can you go to last night? Maybe that's the time that the documents got stolen." We all leaned closer to the screen. "Yeah sure thing." James said as he replayed the footage from the night before.

We all sat just waiting for something, someone to pop out of the principals office holding documents. "3-5pm Nothing." Drea said as she started to curl into a ball slowly going underneath my duvet. "6-8pm Nothing as well." Rhed paused, "Where's all the action?!?" Drew slapped Rhed, "Maybe the thief is swift and not the type to actually break things." We were all just waiting. Waiting for something, something to happen. Until, we saw something. A person holding what seemed to look like papers. "Okay! We got something!" Niña screamed.

"Screenshot it and print it." I demanded. James did it and soon the image came out of my printer. I stuck it in my notebook. "Are you documenting everything we do in this notebook?" Drew asked me. "Actually no. Not everything." I said as I stood up again. I walked over to my bookshelf and grabbed more notebooks, enough for all of us. "Here." I handed the notebooks. "We're all using them to write down our findings or notes on the case."

"Then what are you doing right now?" Rhed asked me. "Well, right now I'm circling and writing notes about what I see on the person." I say as I carry on making notes. "Wait. It's definitely a guy." Rhed suggested. "How do you know?" James asked him. "Well the person doesn't have any boobs, the person doesn't even have bumps on their chest." Rhed stated. "Well maybe the person is flat chested." James argued. "Well why don't you guys stop arguing and let's actually look at this person." I say to shut those two up.

"Black or dark hair." Drea suggested. "There are quite a few people in our school who has dark hair. But the majority have light brown or blonde hair. It'll separate the majority of the people." "Wait, how do we know that the person who took the documents is from our school?" I asked them all. It was silent for a bit as we were all thinking of a suitable answer. "Because nobody else knows where the actual documents are, other than the people who actually have been in the principal's office." Niña stated. "I mean it's unlikely that someone from the school would contact and hire a burglar just to steal some itty bitty documents."

Rhed sat there chuckling to himself, "Hehehe." He paused, "Itty bitty." We stared at him. He's still so childish. He noticed we were staring at him whilst he was laughing to himself. "Ah. Sorry sorry. Carry on." He said as he was smiling awkwardly. "So then the person who took the documents must have already been in the principal's office. Then it's possible that the people who get into trouble and the people who get awarded might steal the documents or the teachers." Drew said. "But it can't be the teachers because the average and most of the teachers height is 5 foot 8 and this guy is at least 6 foot according to the shelves on the side, he's quite tall." I say as I started to write these ideas down. "So then it's a student." James repeated.
