Evidence.
We really need evidence to secure our prime suspect so we know clearly who the thief is. Plus, how are the police going to believe us if we don't have evidence.

"So then the person who took the documents must have already been in the principal's office. Then it's possible that the people who get into trouble and the people who get awarded might steal the documents or the teachers." Drew said. "But it can't be the teachers because the average and most of the teachers height is 5 foot 8 and this guy is at least 6 foot according to the shelves on the side, he's quite tall." I say as I started to write these ideas down. "So then it's a student." James repeated.

Rhed burped in my face and said, "Well this guy has the guts to actually steal something from the school. Innit it Paris?" I scoffed. "Just like how you have the courage burp in my face? Thinking that I'm not going to beat you up because you're younger than me?" He widened his eyes and realised what he had done. He placed his hands together and bowed his head, "Paris," he paused as he waited for my approval for him to speak. "Yeah carry on" I smiled, enjoying the apology that my dear beloved brother was saying. "I am sincerely sorry for burping in your face unintentionally."

Everyone looked at each other as they heard the word 'unintentionally '. They had realised that he should have thought of better words when apologising to me. They realised that he shouldn't had said that. Dear beloved brother? What was I thinking. "Unintentionally? IT WAS TOTALLY INTENTIONAL! I could even tell from your face after you'd burped in my face!" I screamed as I pulled his hair whilst grabbing the nearest thing, which in this case was the notebook, to slap his head with. "FINE FINE! INTENTIONALLY THEN!" I pulled the most annoyed unsatisfied face.

I saw the rest just whispering to each other. Probably betting on what I'm going to do to him. "SO YOU DID DO IT INTENTIONALLY?!? I KNEW IT!! YOU REALLY DO HATE ME ISN'T IT?!" I screamed at him as I pulled his hair back and forth. "I ONLY SAID THAT BECAUSE YOU WANTED ME TOO!!" He answered back. I slapped the top of his head once more with my notebook before laying down on the bed. "I win. Drew you owe me £5. See I told you that she's gonna beat him up." Niña said as she held out her palm to grab the money that Drew now owed her.

I sat up and took a quick glance at the image that was stuck into my notebook.  "Does it look like he has piercings?" I asked myself. Everyone leaned in and looked at the notebook. We all focused on his face."He has black hair." Drew said as he pointed to the image. We all stared at Drew. "You're smart but really slow." Rhed said as he scratched his head. "We already established that. If you were listening."Niña stated. "His skin is lightly tanned. Like very light." Drea pointed out.

I wrote it down in my book. "Now who is a guy that has lightly tanned skin, black or dark hair and a student in the school who is about 5 foot 8 to 6 foot?" I asked them as I was ready to hear some suggestions. "Actually Drew and Rhed, this is your job. Find out who has all these features the you guys just call for a meeting when we have the suspects." I say as I close my notebook.

"Are we done for the day?" James asked me. "No. We need to find out where he goes first. There's CCTV outside the school right?" I asked James. He started to type things into his laptop and stayed silent for a coupLe minutes before saying, "I know the exact time and house he went to." He said as he turned his laptop towards us. "There's CCTV in almost every corner of the streets, so I can predict and see where he's going." He paused at he began thinking. "There's only one problem."

We all sat up and focused on his words. "We've got the suspect's house, but, who's willing to actually go and investigate?" We all became quiet as we were thinking who really was willing to actually investigate. "Aha, I guess it's my turn to do something actually useful." I say as I raise my hand. "I'll do it? But what's the plan?"

Drew leaned back on the edge of the bed and said, "Isn't it simple? Just sneak into the house. Then investigate. Simple." Drea slapped the top of his head, "Yes yes yes, we know that part, but we don't know the house layout. We don't even know what the surroundings of the house look like. Stupid. I knew mum should have enrolled you into extra lessons two years ago." She started tutting and we all started thinking.

"Google maps." Niña suggested as she took another gulp of her drink. "Just search up the guy's address and just you know, explore around his house. Then we can find a way to get in." Rhed placed his two hands on each side of her face and said "Wow you're actually smart."

She instantly moved his hands off her face and made another annoyed and unsatisfied look. "Gosh. It took you that long to realise, I thought you were smart. Actually on second thought, I knew you weren't, I'm complimenting you, but if I keep doing this you'll actually think you're smart when you're not."

"I found a way." James said as he pointed to the screen of his laptop. "Look, there's a tree and it's right next to this bedroom window. Which, may I add, is actually his window. So what I'm thinking is that Paris, you'll climb up this tree and sneak into his bedroom window."

"Wow" I say, "it's been ages since I tried to climb a tree, I do t think my last experience of climbing a tree was a good one anyway." I scratched my head. Drew stared at me confusedly, "what happened?" "To keep it simple, let's just say I climbed up a tree but an idiot stepped on my hand and I slipped and fell."

Drew looked less confused. "But who was the idiot?" He asked me. "Guess." He glanced over at Rhed then James then back to Rhed then to James. He did this for about four times before coming up with an answer, "James." I made a face expression that made Drew laugh. "I know it's not James, first of all, he doesn't have the guts to climb up trees. Second of all, it's pretty obvious that it's Rhed."

I sat there wondering when I actually have to climb up this tree. So then I asked them "When's the best time to climb up the tree then sneak into the bedroom then get caught then get accused of trespassing and then go to prison?" They all had their jaws wide open. As if they didn't think that I would plan ahead until I might actually go to prison.

"Umm. How soon should we she do it?" Drea brought up. "Actually how soon do we actcually need to do it?" Nina corrected Drea. James started to think. When do we need to do it? How soon do we need to do it? "Well we want to solve this case right? Why not do it as soon as possible? Let's do it tonight." Rhed stated.

"Tonight?" I repeated. Not believing that Rhed was actually serious about his suggestion. "Yeah tonight. How far is it from here?" Rhed asked James. "About a mile or three." Rhed decided to walk with me to the house, James gave us the address and I walked out the house with Rhed.

We were half way. Almost there.

The faced me and then pointed out that, "Oh. You still have your pyjamas on. Youre going to sneak into a house wearing your white pyjamas? Don't you know that you have to at least wear black? Gosh. I thought you were exoerienced and a pro at this." He crossed his arms and rolled his eyes to make me respond. Which I did. "I am a pro. I am experienced. I am wearing white. But I am wearing white because I forgot to change okay?"

He glanced over at me then looked forward. "Do you actually think we'll catch him?" "Of course!" I replied as I raised my hands in exaggeration. "But, won't we get in trouble for invading into their privacy with the school? You know since it's the police's job and not ours?" I stopped walking. He stopped walking as well. "Maybe." I carried on walking. "Maybe!?" He exclaimed.

After arguing in whether we'll get into trouble or not, we finally made it to the house. "The window's open. Go. Go. Gooooo. Look it's open go climb the tree." He commanded at he started pushing me to the tree. "Okay okay I'm going." I said as I started to walk towards the tree.
