Moon
Looking ahead, into the night
Glows a round object
Not projecting light
Engulfed in craters
Some large, some small
Dark and deep
But not all
Men have set foot on
Amazed by the sight
Surprising some people
Others, with fright
First man to set foot on the moon
Set off in a rocket, out to the unknown
Upon reaching his destination, he
Spoke the words with glory and pride,
"One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
