Light just proposed to you. You stood there in shock, not knowing what to do. You're mind went blank but your thoughts had another plan. 'Wait a minute.. I know what he is doing here. Why didn't I know sooner, oh my god.' You looked down at Light who was on one knee and holding a ring out. You pulled your hand away from his and backed away, you wanted to say no but he could kill you, right then and there. What could you do? There was no escaping from this.
~~Light's P.O.V~~
'What is taking her so damn long?' I was starting to get tired of waiting, but I kept my face in a calm manner. 'Is she gonna say No? That's not part of the plan.. she's the one supposed to get caught.'
~~No one's P.O.V~~
You looked down at him, his face looked a bit annoyed, did you make him antsy for an answer? You already come with an answer, he was just gonna sell you out. "I'm sorry Light... But but I'm gonna have to say, no.." You spoke, biting your lip hoping he wouldn't get mad, but instead he just close the ring box and stood up. "Are you not ready? That's totally fine! I can wait" He smiled kindly.
You were looking for an answer. "Y-Yeah! I'm not.. ready!?" You said nervously hoping he would fall for it. Even though you knew he was smart, he could see right through you. "No hard feelings right?" You asked him as he nods "Of course!" He was pissed, without showing the expression. Now he would have to think of another plan. You felt really awkward in this situation, you just kinda wanted to leave, but you didn't know if he would write your name down in the Death note. "I'm sorry Light but, I'm gonna have to go.. I have to work.." you told him as he stayed silent and led you to the door. He watched you as you walked down the hall and down the stairs. "Damn it Y/N.."
