"Prick"
He held a hand to his heart, mocking the look of someone who might've been offended by those words.
"If only I cared, kitten" he let a smirk tug at his lips and I scoffed, looking away, trying again at the bounds that held my hands together behind my back.
If you haven't guessed it yet, he had caught me in that cave. And as he bound me together and effortlessly threw me over his shoulder, he tsked me on how I should've known better than to run from him.
Then to hide from him.
Asshole of the year, please.
I ignored his taunting remarks that began to follow shortly after I had turned my head, and I continued to work on the bounds behind me.
He had me standing, my back pressed against a wooden pole that stood in the middle of the room, and my feet bound together as well. He knew that I would get out of these lousy ropes sooner or later. It was only a matter of time.
"I'd prefer it if you'd listen to me" his voice turned angry quickly and soon, he was standing right in front of me, his chest pressed against mine and his hand gripping my jaw, turning my head so that I was looking directly at him.
"Does the lack of female attention bother you, Will? Because quite frankly, I bet your package size is smaller than a-"
"Just as feisty as ever, huh Ruby? It seems as though you've grown a spine" he sounded as if he was admiring that trait of mine, but I knew better than to buy into his charm again.
"My bite is bigger than my bark, twilight"
"Is that supposed to be a wolf joke or are you insinuating something about me again?" he teased right back, playing along.
I let myself smirk at him, just as he had at me, and whispered out tauntingly, "Woof"
He let an annoyed growl slip between his lips, taking a step back from me and forcefully letting my chin go, my head turning sharply to the side.
"I'm starting to think that I'm not the only one who might need a shock collar around here, my dear" his back was turned to me and he walked to the other end of the room, going over to the only door.
"Now," he turned back around, leaning against the wall beside the door, his large hand going to the knob. He faked a pout, his red lips looking dauntingly tempting, "Why don't you stay here and think about what you've done"
He looked at me as if I were a small child needing a time out, and I gave him back a look of disgust as he continued, "I'm sure you need the time to reflect on your naughty behavior lately, kitten. Sweet dreams"
And then he slipped through the door.
"F*ck," I swore under my breath, knowing that he had finally caught me this time, "F*ck you!" I yelled angrily.
It seemed almost comical that I heard his deep laugh echoing from the other side of the door, but I ignored, surveying what I could of the room, or should I say shed, that he had put me in.
Back when he had first caught me, the first time that he caught me after he killed my grandmother, he told me that it was all supposed to be one big game.
Apparently, my grandmother had known of him. Him and his pack.
And apparently, she had been quite the badass.
Must run in the family.
She had killed about a quarter of Will's pack members, her shot gun skills coming in handy, and the revenge that they had on her, killing her, eating her, and finally getting rid of their "problem", had been a long time coming.
But now, I was the problem. The only problem that they had left to dispose of.
"Shit" I swore under my breath again. The rope around my wrists seemed to be cutting into my skin. I flipped my hair over my shoulder, trying to get a glimpse of the knot he had tied. If only I had...
My Hood!
It had a swiz army knife in it's inside hidden pocket. That would surely help me except..
Where was my hood?
"Looking for something kitten?"
My heart seemed to increase in speed at the sound of Will's voice. I didn't even hear him come back in, but now, here he was. The door was ajar behind him and my hood was draped across one of his shoulders. A smirk played on his lips, as per usual, and I rolled my eyes, letting him know that he had no effect on me.
If only he knew that he did.
"Give that back"
"Are you cold in here, Ruby? Is that why you want it back so much?" he took a step forward, his tone changing to anything but playful, "Or do you want it for this?"
He held up the knife to my throat, pressing ever so slightly so that even the slightest breath I took made my skin press into the knife, drawing blood.
His eyes were trained on the small trail of red that came from the side of my neck, a gleam in his eye that I knew meant he was hungry for it. Hungry for me.
He bent his head much closer to mine, just enough so that it was slightly buried in the crook of my neck. I turned my head away, knowing that I was giving him more access to my neck, but I couldn't help myself.
The 16 year old me was still there somewhere. Still gushing over how hot he looked and how close he was to me. Even though I knew exactly what he wanted.
He took a deep breath, inhaling the smell of my auburn hair as his tongue met the blood on my neck.
My breath was shaking more then it should've been.
"Just kill me already" I breathed out, my voice almost gone, and he paused in his movements, his head lifting up so that our foreheads almost touched. His eyes, as black as the night, glinted somehow, enticing my gaze to continue to keep eye contact.
He licked his lips, a drop of red smeared across his bottom lip.
"Where's the fun in that, red?"
