It was a normal day for Ace Latrell, making his way to school to meet up with Kaitlyn Bell, his girlfriend, and gossip about what happened at the weekend. It was a sunny Monday morning, the birds were singing and there was a soft breeze. As Ace made his short trek to school, the familiar arch came into view and so did Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn was a pretty little thing. She was pale with long fair hair, her side fringe tucked behind her ear, exposing her oceanic eyes.
"Hey!" She smiled, greeting him with a hug.
As the two shared the tender moment, Michelle Ryans stood off to the side, glaring. Ace saw this and pulled away, reassuring Michelle with a smile. Michelle forced a smile and walked up to the duo, greeting them. There was an awkward pause as they stood there.
"So.. How were your weekends?" Ace asked, attempting to break the silence.
"Good.." Michelle lied.
"Mine was okay, I guess. Not much happened." Kaitlyn replied.
"Oh.. " Before anyone could say anything, the bell rang, signalling the start of their first class.
Michelle and Kaitlyn had Art with Mrs. Cameron.
"I can't believe you still go out with that jerk." Michelle said, applying paint to her pear.
"He's not a jerk." Kaitlyn frowned.
"He is! He hardly spends time with you, he hardly texts or talks with you and he hasnt even been on a date with you yet!" Michelle stated.
"He's just shy." Kaitlyn protested.
"I think he doesn't care. You shouldn't be with someone like him. He will only use you." Michelle sighed.
"Look, I don't care what you think! I love him and thats it!" Kaitlyn growled, slamming her paintbrush down.
Michelle said no more, only letting out quiet growls. She was gonna end their relationship, once and for all. When the bell went, Kaitlyn rushed out of the classroom to meet Ace and head to Physics.
"Ace?" She asked.
"Yeah?" Ace replied.
"Should I still be friends with Michelle?" She looked up at him.
"No. She's trying to tear us apart." He said.
"Why do you say that?" Kaitlyn asked, tilting her head.
"She glares at me every time we get close. I haven't done anything with you because of her!" Ace said, angrily.
When the bell rung, Ace walked over to his locker. Before he could reach his locker, he was pinned against the wall. It was Michelle.
"Stay away from Kaitlyn." She threatened, her voice full of malice.
"Never." Ace growled back.
She lifted her arm and forcefully slapped him across the face, letting go of him and walking off.
"Stupid cow." Ace muttered, gripping his cheek.
With a sigh, he walked over to his locker and opened it, instantly noticing the pink slip of paper on top of the mess.
Hey Ace,
Meet me in the east corridor after school.
Kaitlyn.
He frowned at the paper, before putting it in his shirt pocket. After school, he did as the letter said and waited in the east corridor. Instead of Kaitlyn showing up, Michelle did, with a sadistic grin plastered onto her face. She help up a picture in Ace's face. It was the picture Ace had took when they were in the park, on a swing. He was planning on giving it to her for her birthday.
"Do you want it?~" Michelle dangled the picture in front of his face.
"Yes. Now give it here!" Ace lunged for the photo.
"Ah, ah, aah. Hmm.. Should I?" She asked with a mischievous look in her eye, pulling out a lighter. "Or should I burn it?"
Ace's eyes widened as she held the lighter closer to the photo. Michelle giggles as she ignited the lighter, putting the photo directly about the lighter and let the flames climb up the photo.
"Ace's present is burning!~ It's burning!~ Burning!~ Ace's present is burning!~ Ahahahahahaha!~" Michelle sung, the flames rising higher and higher.
"No.. Ah.. Aahh.. AAAAAAAAAAAAGH! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! NO! NOOOO!!" Ace shrieked, tears beginning to spill from his eyes.
Michelle dropped the picture, Ace's tear filled eyes watching it sadly floated to the floor. Michelle giggled, raising her foot and stomping out the remaining flame.
"Aaaand, it's gone!~" She giggled.
Ace looked up at Michelle with murderous eyes. Ace pushed her up against the wall, wrapping his hands around her neck tightly. Michelle tried to pry his hands off, letting out choked gargles. She desperately looked around for something to help her, her vision beginning to go blurry. Suddenly, she swiftly lifted a knee to his crotch. Ace let out a pained gasp, letting go of her neck to aid his crotch.
Michelle grinned, pulling out the knife she hid in her blazer. She shoved Ace to the floor, pinning him down with her body weight. She raised the knife above her head, quickly bringing it down onto his left shoulder. His shoulder had little resistance, allowing the blade to tear through his shirt, and peirce into his skin. Ace let out a screech as blood coated the knife and Michelle's arm, staining his white shirt red. She pulled out the knife, raising it again and plunging it into Ace's neck. Ace's screams were silenced by the eruption of blood that spilled from his mouth.
Ace's gaze shifted from Michelle, to his forehead, his eyes glossing over and resembling that of a dead fish. All life drained from his body, and he fell limp. Ace was dead. Michelle heaved the knife that was buried into Ace's neck out, smiling to herself before she began to laugh maniacally.
"I killed him! AHAHAHAHA! I killed him dead! IkilledhimIkilledhimIkilledhim! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Kaaaaaaaitlyn!~ Here I come!~ We can be best friends now he's gone! Best friends forever!~ AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" She turned around, ans saw Kaitlyn standing there, paralyzed with fear.
"You saw, didnt you?"
