Mackenzie P.O.V.
I'm not that average teen, I've never been one of the 'in crowd' and I've never been a new kid in a school, but now i'm moving i get to see what it's like, yay me. My name is Mackenzie Jackson and i'm 17, I'm moving from quiet little Dorset to Doncaster.
It's a few hours journey so i just sit in my car, headphones in, music on full blast, saying goodbye to my old life and hello to my new one. I didn't really want to move away from all my friends, but at least going to this new school can make me more confident, right?
Finally we get to this new house, my sister was already waiting for us with her husband Ryan and my nephew, Jake, who's 3. "Kenzieee" Eva says excitedly "finally get to spend time with my 'lil' sis now you've moved down" my sister said with a big grin, squeezing me tightly.
"Eva, can't breathe" i gasped jokingly.
"Aunty Kenzieeee" Jake said running up to me, i picked him up and spun him around before placing him against my hip.
"Alright Jakey boy?" I asked grinning at him, ruffling his soft brown hair. He was just like Eva but looked so much like Ryan.
"Yesh" he grinned.
We helped move all the furniture from the removal truck and into the house. I was moving one of the many boxes when i see something in next doors window, there i saw the most beautiful pair of blue eyes staring straight at me for just one second, then suddenly they vanished. I stare at the window for a little longer until Ryan pushes me into the house.
"Come on Mackenzie, we want to be done before it gets dark" he said ruffling my hair.
I was kind of glad we moved to Doncaster because i missed my sister and now we lived here i could see her more often. There was one problem though, i hated unpacking after moving.
After a few hours of heavy lifting and moving around furniture; when i say moving i mean Jake sitting on everything we moved to make it 5 times harder. But finally we only had a couple of boxes left to unpack, we were basically done. We all fell onto the sofa, Jake falling on to me like he always does, you gotta love little Jake, so innocent and cheeky.
"I'm ordering pizza." Mum said, she walked out to the kitchen to get the phone. "What do you guys want?" she yelled from the kitchen.
"Meat feast!" We all replied. Ryan, Eva, Jakey and I went out into the garden to chat about what's been happening recently. Jake was sat on my lap and i saw him waving at something, I looked over to see what he was looking at, and in that same window i came across those same beautiful blue eyes, as i saw him wave back at Jake. I smiled at him until i saw someone pull him back, that's when we broke eye contact, he'd disappeared.
The doorbell rings "Pizzaaa" Mum sings. We hear her open the door and Mum talk to someone, i heard her say thanks and i was relieved to finally eat something, i was bloody starving! But then Mum walks back with nothing.
"Where's the pizza Grandma Addy?" Jake asked grabbing his little tummy.
"Yeah Mum, we're starving." Eva added to what her son said.
"It wasn't the pizza, obviously; it was next door, the Tomlinson's. They offered us to go over there for tea tomorrow, they have a son your age Makenzie, might be nice to make a friend before starting school." She said "and saves me from cooking too" she joked.
Finally the doorbell goes again. "This better be the pizza" Jake pouted. Ryan ruffled Jake's hair.
"I'm starving" Ryan moaned lightly. Mum walked into the garden with some plates and the pizza. She opened the lid of the box and Ryan grabbed two slices.
