My eyes adjusted to the light as i opened them slowly.
"She's awake! She's awake!" Someone squealed "Jonah! She's awake!"
"Mackenzie? Babe?" I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around me. "Addy, Mackenzie's awake" A husky voice shouted. I looked as my vision became clearer; in front of me was a girl with coal black hair and a pretty face and a guy, ash blonde hair and gorgeous hazel eyes.
"Where is Louis?" I asked expecting to see my boyfriend in front of me.
"Who's Louis?" Jonah i expect said.
"Louis, my boyfriend, my next door neighbour" i said like i was dumbing things down for them.
"Babe, i'm your boyfriend" Jonah had a confused expression on his face.
"Well who are you?" I pointed to the girl in front of my hospital bed as my mother came through with red eyes and a smile on her face.
"I'm Kara...your best friend" She said raising an eye brow.
"Sophie's my best friend. Louis is my boyfriend. Harry, Liam, Zayn and Niall are like my brothers" I almost yelled. "What happened to me to forget who you are?"
"Honey, you got hit by a car, you've been in a coma for 6 months" My mum told me.
"So these people were just imaginary? We don't really live in Doncaster?" I started to sob.
"We've never lived there Kenz" Mum replied soothingly.
"But my coma life was amazing, it was so real, are you sure i'm not dreaming?" I started pinching my arm, trying to wake myself up from this nightmare. It didn't work.
"Babe, if your dreaming, it is probaby the best dream you've ever had because i'm in it" Jonah smirked and winked at Kara.
"How long have i got to stay here Mum?" I asked, changing the topic, not daring to look into the boys eyes.
"I'm not sure darling, i'll go ask one of the nurses" Mum wondered out of the room leaving me with these two strangers again.
"What happened to make me end up here?" The tension in this room could be cut with a knife.
"You got hit by a car Kenzie" Jonah stated.
"NO ONE CALLS ME KENZIE APART FROM LOUIS, HARRY, LIAM, ZAYN, NIALL AND SOPHIE!" I shouted at him.
"Calm down babe, you need to come back to reality, your imaginary life doesn't exist, it never has and never will" Jonah said, gripping my wrist tightly.
"Come on Jonah, you're hurting her" Kara could obviously see my wrist changing into a dark red colour.
Mum walked back into the room with a huge smile on her pale face "they say you can leave once you've had a doctor give you a check up."
"Great, then my life can go back to normal" i mumbled.

"Aunty Kenzieeee" Jake ran up to me as i sat watching The Big Bang theory.
"Hey buddy" i lifted him onto my lap and wiped away the tears that threatened to spill.
"Don't be sad Aunty Kenzie, you home now" Jake hugged me tightly and reassuringly.
"I'm sorry hun" i smiled weakly at him, moving a strand of hair away from his eyes. "Aunty Kenzie is just tired."
"Aunty Kenzie" Jake stared at me and pulled at the blanket that laid on my lap. "Mumma, Daddy and i are moving" he looked down sadly. "That mean i won't see you much now, doesn't it?"
"Of course not, i'll be visiting all the time! Do you know where you're moving?" I stroked my little nephews hair.
"Doncasta" my eyes opened wide as he mentioned the place that felt like home to me. "We moving tomorrow."
"Kiddo, you'll find it hard to get rid of me" I brought him close to me and hugged him tightly.

I'd been back at school for 2 weeks now and each day got harder and harder, my mum had sent me to the doctors and i had to take tablets to help my depression, i think that's why Jonah got mad with me every time we met up, because i was always depressed. I never did as he asked and barely spoke to him.
Kara acted the same, she got mad at me a lot but they acted fine when they were together, of course i had suspicions.
At lunch i sat with a girl called Tessa, she was one of my friends before apparently, since i've been back to school she's the person closest to me. She told me everything that was going on, and i mean everything.
"Mackenzie, i have something to tell you, i thought you ought to now what's been happening since you went into a coma" Tessa fiddled with her thumbs.
"Shoot" i said as i started to make a daisy chain.
"Jonah's been cheating on you" she blurted.
"What?" i stared at her in disbelief.
"He's been cheating on you" she looked down at the grass.
"With....with who?" i asked, my hands starting to tremble.
"You'll never believe me but, it's Kara" she mumbled.
"Tessa, i can't....i can't believe that." I whispered.
"I know, but you have to trust me on this one Mackenzie" Tessa continued.
Jonah walked over to us and slung an arm around my shoulder "babe, we're going out tonight, i'll be at yours for 6" he said quickly.

It was 10 past 6 and i sat waiting for Jonah impatiently, maybe Tessa was right, maybe Jonah is cheating on me. Maybe i should go see if he's still at his house? Maybe he's just getting ready or maybe he's running late.
That's it, i'm going over to see if he's ready. I started the 15 minute walk to Jonah's house, my small heeled shoes clicked as i walked over the pavement, the warm air brushed through my hair quickly as the wind hit me at every angle.
I knock on Jonah's front door but no-one answers, i grasp the handle in my hand and twist it to see if the door was unlocked, just my luck, it was.
"Jonah?" I called quietly, searching downstairs. No-one. I started to walk upstairs, my breathing quickened on each step.
I headed for the door with the sign 'Jonah' on it and the door was a jar, i pushed it open lightly and what i saw horrified me.
Jonah was there shirtless kissing someone, Kara, my 'best friend' more like back stabbing bitch.
"Jonah?!" I cried.
