A smile like the sun, eyes as cold as ice. Something about him made her want to understand.
"Wha-what are you doing." I managed to stutter. The boy's face was terrifying, a look of death in his glowing ocean eyes.
"Why are you here?" He growled, flipping my body around to face him. The blade of his sword was against the back of my neck now, holding me against him.
"I don't know, I just followed..." Before I could finish my sentence, he slapped me hard across the face, knocking me to the ground.
"Don't lie to me, bitch," he hissed, "I know about your kind."
I clutched my throbbing cheek, completely stunned. I considered running away, as his weapon was no longer at my face, but I knew he could cut me down in a second if I tried anything.
As if he could hear what I was thinking, he stuck out the sword and placed the edge into the centre of my forehead. It was a long sabre blade, black as ink. I tried to move as the tip began to push into my forehead but I was completely paralyzed. My head told me to scream, but all that came out was a muffled squeak. I squeezed my eyes tight to try to escape the pain. Who was this boy and why was he doing this to me?
"Moon, end." He spoke.
I opened my eyes, thinking that something was going to happen, but everything had gone silent. I shifted my fingers in the sand, realizing that I was no longer paralyzed. The sword was gone and the boy had a strange look on his face. It was a mixture of confusion and fear.
"What did you just do to me?" I asked hearing the tremble in my own voice as I rubbed my hands against my forehead and neck to make sure I wasn't bleeding.
"Apparently nothing," He breathed, the glowing ocean in his eyes fading back to their original tone. "You should be dead right now."
He crouched down until he was at eye level with me.
"Are you going to kill me?" I asked, preparing some sort of way to escape.
He glared into my face and sighed. "Look princess, I don't know how you did this, but nothing has ever escaped my End." He seemed like a totally different person now. He had gone from chill to fiery hell and then back to chill in a matter of barely five minutes.
"End?" I stuttered.
He shifted his glance towards the ocean.
"You can see me, therefore that makes you either a God or Anti." He began. "I know you aren't a God, or I would've already seen you before, and if you were an Anti you would be dead." He uttered those words as if I was supposed to understand them.
My eyes widened. Where was I? He seemed to notice my confusion and panic and tilted his head back.
"Tell me everything that happened, and how you found me," he said, "And if you try anything, I won't hesitate to put you into immense pain."

I explained my situation of how I got that strange dreamy feeling, and followed the cat all the way here through the cherry blossomed trees.
He looked at the animal sitting next to him. "So you did this," He shot, "I thought you were better than that."
"I did nothing, Day. She was the one who followed me." The cat sounded offended, again to my surprise. I watched intently as the two began to exchange looks of death. Finally, the cat tilted its head up in disgust.
"Who are you?." I squeaked, sounding much more afraid than I meant to be. The pair turned their heads to face me.
The boy took a deep breath and rubbed the back of his head. "Alright then, I hope I don't regret this." He took a second to think over what he was about to say, and began.
"Look princess, i'm a god."
"A god?" I whispered after a moment of silence.
"Yes, my name is Day and I just happen to be the god of light." He declared proudly, then pointing at the cat. "And you just managed to follow him into a different world, right?" I nodded in reply. "Sweetheart, I don't know how you got here, but this certainly isn't safe where we are. I need you to explain everything in complete detail." He stood up and started to walk in the opposite direction.
"This way," he said, not even looking back to check if I was following him.
So that's what his name was. Day. The perfect looking guy with the most terrifying personality. I got up and began to walk after him and his cat, who was lagging behind slightly. Alarms were going off in my head telling me that this was a terrible idea and I was making a huge mistake, following the person who had just tried to kill me, but I had no other choice and both curiosity and unease urged me on.
"Where are we going?" I asked
"Aren't you just full of questions." Day said sarcastically, "Just shut up and keep walking if you don't want to be killed. Be thankful that i'm in a good mood and actually interested in your situation." He said, looking me up and down.
I winced. This was his attitude when he was in a good mood? Maybe I was making the wrong decision about all this. I started to wonder how I could get out of this by quietly slipping away, until the cat interrupted my thoughts.
"I apologize on his behalf," The cat piped up, "Day isn't always like this. I think I understand your situation, and there is no way that you could be lying to us. He's just paranoid and a little ticked off because you escaped his End."
"Shut it you damn animal." He shot from in front of us, "We still can't trust her, Moon"
"I'm just trying to explain something to this poor girl! Can't you see how scared she is?" Moon hissed, sounding actually concerned.
Day let out a wheezing noise, which probably could have been mistaken for a growl, and exited the beach leading us out into the cherry tree lined streets. It was dark and the only glow was the street lights dotting along the road.
"It's not far from here, just keep up." He muttered, increasing his pace. He pouted like he was ten years younger than he actually was, pounding his black boots into the ground like he wanted to break right through the pavement.
"I'm so confused," I whispered, trying not to catch Day's attention. I wasn't able to think straight.
"You are going to try to help me right?" I stuttered, "Are going to try to get me back home?" I stopped dead in my tracks and move my glance elsewhere. I could feel tears welling up in my eyes and had to use all of my strength to suppress them. Was I going to leave this place alive?
I looked up and Day was standing motionless in front of me. His head was tilted down, his hair covering any emotion. He reached over and grabbed my hand and squeezed it in his grasp. It was warm and soft like a baby yet firm. He pulled me to keep walking and I struggled to keep up with his stride.
"I'll try, sweetheart. I'll try."
