Chapter 1: Prince Gumball

Fionnas Pov :

FIONNAAA," I hear Cake yell from the bottom of the tree house, "Come down and eat some bacon pancakes, I made them just for you, I know they're your favorite!" And with that I tumbled out of bed mumbling "you make these damn pancakes everyday" under my breathe.

"Hey I heard that missy," cake says in a jokingly stern way.

"Yeah yeah"

"What are we doing today baby cakes?"

"Gumball needs some help with an experiment, oh glob! I gotta go, like now!" I look at the time and see it's 12:30, knowing he asked for me to be there at 12. I grabbed my pack and ran out the door gobbling down the rest of my pancakes. I run all the way to the candy kingdom. I walk up to the big, pink, gum doors and knock. Peppermint maid opens the door and walks me to Gumballs lab door.

"I'm not sure if he's wanting any visitors at the moment," Pepermint maid said softly,

"He called me yesterday asking me to come in to help with a new experiment,"

"Alright well I'll let you be, I'll see you around Fionna,"

For some reason the way Pepermint maid said my name made me shiver. I ignore the feeling and open the lab door to see Gumball isn't there. I look towards the window and see ice,

"Ice queen," I whisper to myself. I start my way out of the kingdom and head towards ice queens castle.

"Hey bunny,"

I look up to see a smirking Marshall hovering over me grabbing at my hat,

"Not now Marsh, I think Ice Queens got Gumball,"

"Awe, Fionna still got a little crush on Gumwad?" He teases and grabs my hat,

"NO! NOT AT ALL MARSHALL YOU KNOW THAT WAS SO 2 YEARS AGO!"

I found myself shouting, not sure why, Marshall lands in front of me, he looks kinda scared but smirks,

"Now go suck an apple or some glob I'm busy being a hero,"

"Can't I come with?"

I liked the thought of Marshall coming with me, I don't know why, I don't like him, not like like him, he's my best bud.

"Yeah I guess just don't get in the way,"

He smiles and picks me up and we fly towards the ice castle.

"Marshall what the flop I can walk!"

"Sh bunny, we're almost there."

I actually liked the feeling of being held by Marshall, wait no what am I saying? I don't like Marshall, or do I? No I don't I can't like Marshall.

We fly through an open window and Marshall sets me down and I run to the dungeon where I always find Gumball,

"Fionna! Over here" I hear Gumball say, waving his arms frantically,

"Oh, you brought him," he says, directing his attention towards Marshall,

"Shut it Gum twat I'm here to help you." Marshall says as I smash the ice bars that enclose Gumball,

"Fionna thank you so much for saving me from her,"

Speaking of ice queen, I don't see her anywhere. I wonder where she is but decide that doesn't matter we should just leave, so Marshall goes into his bat form and we hop on his back and fly out of the Ice kingdom.
