Son of the Moon (Under Editing)

Part 6

We left off when Minato is heading off to work and two hours later, Artemis is waking up because she came back very late last night.  Minato is going to ask Artemis when Zoe's birthday is. 

BACK TO THE STORY

Minato spend his day signing and looking over important documents, when he heard a knock on his door "Come in." Artemis is one who knocked and came in, "Hi Artemis," "Hey, Phoebe told me what you were thinking about doing for Zoe." He nodded his head "I know she lived for a very long time but I think she might've forgot when her birthday was, so I thought I might ask Phoebe, she didn't know so I was going to ask you but I didn't want to wake you." She blushed "Its been a while. But I guess it wont hurt to have a new birthday date." 

"So some time this afternoon, Im going shopping for some gifts, can you make sure that you take Zoe out of the house for a couple of hours." 

"Sure,"

Artemis and Minato made plans for tonight Artemis will take Zoe out for a personal mother/daughter date until 5pm while Minato the other hunters will go out and buy gifts for Zoe and and go back home, wrap them up, and bake a cake for her. 

Minato made sure, he won't stop until every single piece of paper for the day is read and signed. The hunters are nearing the office "DONE" they heard Minato yell at the top of his lungs, Kelly, a short brunette haired 14 year old knocked on the door "Come in." She opens the door "Are you ready?" "yes, lets go girls" Minato grabbed  his jacket and they all headed out. 

Artemis and Zoe are walking through the forest for some alone time, "So,what do you think of Minato after spending some time to know him?"

"He is different form other males, I'm starting to warm up to him a little. But..." 

"I understand Zoe, you still dont trust him just yet but I can tell you i wouldn't be...dating him if I didn't love him like loves me. He has never once hurt me or touch me in a wayI do not like. And Im glad you gave him a chance. Just take your time" Zoe smiles when she heard her lady say those words about Minato, yet she still has a long way to fully trust him. Right now she'll take her time just Like Lady Artemis said. 

everyone else got their gifts, the girls are making the house look nice, Minato is in the kitchen baking a chocolate cake with her name 'Zoe Nightshade' in the middle in blue letters and silver flowers. 

two girls put up a banner that says *HAPPY BIRTHDAY* 

Soon, every thing is perfect, Minato made dinner and put it on the table, any minute Artemis walking though the door with Zoe 

*OUTSIDE*

Artemis is getting anxious, she wants to see Zoe's reaction to her surprise. 

The girls hid behind furniture or inside the closet, lights are turned off, and they heard the door open and a "Hello?" The lights turned on

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY"
Zoe jumped in surprise,  but when she figured out what was happening, she smiled and started to cry, the girls hugged her. 

When Zoe calmed down, everyone ate dinner, had some cake and opened presents

Zoe has never been so happy in her life.
