Nothing has prepared her for the news of her baby's gender. It true she found a man worthy of her attention but to think she was carrying one of them inside her.
Artemis hopes for a girl so she can join the hunt when she was older and she could take of her daughter but no she had to carry a son...a boy.
But then she remembered, it wasn't just any boy, it was her boy, her son. Her son would carry her half. This boy would care for a woman and not hurt a woman. It was against her nature and Minato is a good man. Male or female she would have this baby.
Later on,
The news of having a boy from lady Artemis herself was kinda.... not good but she told her hunters about the boy so one by one, they started to warm up to their newest brother.

Months into her pregnancy, Artemis made a friend named Mikoto Uchiha. Apparently she also is having a son and talking how they would be friends too.
Mikoto is the first to give birth to a healthy son who her husband named Sasuke. Itachi became friends with one of the hunters (nina) and together they did fishing, training, and eat dango.
Itachi would left alone a lot to take care of his younger brother and when nina is not there to help out one of the other hunters came to help. Even Zoe.
The final month of Artemis' pregnancy came
(The birth of naruto is the same as the anime/manga. Except Tobi had summoned Kurama. It didn't have a Jinchuuriki since Mito and now it's Naruto)
To weak to do anything Artemis watched as Minato sealed Kyuubi into Naruto and wished to Sarutobi that Naruto be treated like a hero then died.
Artemis and her hunters were faded back to New York and she was in a coma for months. Zeus who didn't know that Artemis was pregnant until the fates showed them a memory of their growing family, Most of the gods thought that Zeus would want to kill the young demigod but instead he cried a little and sent Hermes, Ares, and Apollo to bring the young child to Mount Olympus.
Naruto disappeared, they searched everywhere, high and low, left to right.
They couldn't understand how a baby could just disappear. So they went to Sarutobi and asked and he said that Naruto has died.
