Nothing was alright.
"Ethan collapsed!" Isaac shouted, drawing everyone's attention.
"Ethan what?" Kyle widened his eyes, rushing into the room. Sub was quick to follow, and for the first time his body shook with a fear so evident you could see it from practically across the city.
"Something happened to Seto," Sub murmured, tracing his hand up the side of Ethan's face and onto his forehead.
"What do you mean something happened to Seto—it's impossible!" Brice shouted, panic and adrenaline flowing throughout his body.
"I can't sense him anymore, we aren't linked. The contract was broken by a force that is more powerful than myself and Seto. We need to go get him—we need to head back to the main city."
"You don't mean—" Kyle's face went completely pale.
"We need to go back to the Sorcerer's Palace, but not without help."
