"Prince Harvey," a voice called from the back of the room, "the Headmaster is requesting you to sleep, it has been hours since you've rested."

Seto scrunched his nose, uneasy as he turned in his chair. His glasses rested on the bridge of his nose, and his hair was quite messy. Visible bags under his eyes laid deep, digging and darkening constantly as the days grew longer and nights shorter. He was in no need of assistance, as he'd say, but would constantly wipe himself out and require his father to clean up after him. "I'm worried about Dawn."

"Dawnables?" Seto scrunched his nose again, visible disgust.

"Her name Dawn. Not Dawnables," Seto couldn't help but correct him, it annoyed him quite a bit.

"Don't you trust her with this mission? You personally selected her, after all."

Seto shook his head, "I trust Dawn with my life. I'm worried because—"

"—you love her. Ah, Prince Harvey, everyone knows you too well around here. Falling in love instead of proper selection by the people of your father."

"Father allowed the marriage! Now, I demand you to get out!"

The next thing he knew, the door was slammed shut and the walls shook. It was quiet, desolate as well perhaps. Seto turned back to his desk, his amulet resting on the surface with a hologram peeking out. He could watch Dawn's every move, she was doing quite well. The people she was talking to looked oddly familiar, despite Seto not knowing who those people were. He had to admit, she was a pretty good actor.

She intrigued him.

He loved everything about her; the way she walked, the way her voice sounded, her smile, her laugh, the odd way her selection of style was chosen. Yes, she is everything to him. Seto didn't have that empty feeling within him, he had felt empowered by her presence. Yet, part of him knew something was wrong with this ending, almost as if he didn't want it. But he knew it was something he had needed, desperately.

It was that blond boy, the one who called himself "human." Seto knew about the boy, the once benevolent prince of the Hybrid species. He intrigued him too; how could a prince betray his own roots? If it wasn't for the constant worry of having Hybrids attack the Sorcerers left and right, the Humans would be Seto's main concern.

Concerns.

He cracked his knuckles and adjusted his posture, slouching in his chair and listening in to the conversation. Dawn was sent there to infiltrate the base and learn as much information as she could, his property would never betray him. She was currently talking to that blond boy, giving him false information. How stupid could Hybrids be?

"Right. That's their plan, just to get rid of the Hybrids? They don't want anything to do with us?" Accent. Seto felt like he had heard it before. If it wasn't for his amnesia, his father had called it, maybe he could just remember where it was from.

The boy was blond, tall, blue eyed, and had pale lips. Seto felt that fluttery feeling again in his stomach, churning. He wore something casual, just a black hoodie with white strings and ripped, bagged jeans. His hands were shoved into his pockets, he had slouched a bit as well. There was a messenger bag slung across his shoulder, a photo sticking out. He could barely see what it had depicted, but it was a "somebody" with the distinctive colour of brunet hair. The background was sunny, a clear day with sunshine. No clouds.

"That's right," Dawn replied. The perspective shifted down a bit. Seto noticed she was playing with her hands—it was her habit when she had become anxious.

Her wedding ring was gone.

Seto took a gaze at his own hands, the silver ring still glossy and shining like the first day he had worn it. He took the silver ring off and shoved it into his own pocket, then proceeded to adjust his glasses. Maybe that stupid servant was right, maybe he did need some rest.
