It was too early for anyone to be awake. The sun did not rise from the horizon yet, and most of the Humans were tired, fatigued, and in need of more coffee (despite the fact that they were give a large quantity before they had left the base). Brice stood in the front, a pair of binoculars in his hand. Isaac sat by his right, and Zek to his left.

Isaac was clearly exhausted. His posture was sinking like a dead flower, there were bags under his eyes, and his hair was messy. He clearly looked disheveled, and a complete, utterly mess. He had stayed up as watch guard the other night, as well as tutoring fellow Humans who had requested the extra help. The vivid visions had kept him awake as well—and his medicine wasn't aiding him either.

Zek, on the other hand, seemed to be more anxious. His foot tapped wildly on the ground, which caused Brice to shush him multiple times in order to not get caught. He was skeptical about the whole attack; everything seems too perfect and elaborate for it to be a surprise launch. Yeah, he knew that Sorcerers were engraved to be these perfect, whimsical beings, but they were devious too. What if this was all a trap? All of their forces were with them, it would be a perfect opportunity to wipe them all out as if they were just a stupid colony of ants.

"Do you see anything yet?" Zek whispered, yawning.

"You asked that two minutes ago," Isaac whisper-shouted. Zek glared, scrunching his nose.

"Well sorry if I'm concerned about our attack," Zek whisper-shouted back, sassily snapping his fingers.

"Well sorry if I'm concerned about our attack," Isaac had mocked. His accent was more clear and refined when he spoke normally.

"You both really need to shut up," Brice scolded the two, frowning. He put down the binoculars for a brief moment, rubbing eyes sore eyes. "Zek, are you sure about the intel of the attack?"

"I'm sure, I sent out two of our recruits, one to the Golden City and the other to the Sorcerer's Palace. They said that the attack was planned for today. I don't know how they planned for it to be on the same day at the same place, but—"

Zek was quickly silenced by the roar of power surging through the area. The ground was shaking, and the air seemed to be thicker than it was before. Frozen in place, the trio silenced themselves and listened. Screaming, specifically a female's screaming, was heard in the distance. It was distinctive. Brice immediately took a look into the binoculars, adjusting them as needed to see farther in the distance.

There were two shadowy figures; one possessing purple Sorcery, while the other had a varied mix of shades of pink and blue. As if were in a dance, the purple Sorcery flew high up into the air, creating two hands that slammed down onto the ground. He recognized that move; it was Seto's distinctive special attack.

Abruptly, I had charged towards Seto. Without hesitation, Seto lifted up his right hand, crossing it over his chest. Two arms made of wind began to form from his hips, swirling around violently and shocking the crowd. I tumbled backwards, my crystal blue eyes widening in shock. I had summoned an electricity ball from my hand, a large one that looked to be about six inches in width and eight inches in height. Perfect. Seto slashed his hand down, making the arms grab me and lift me up in the air. I struggled for air, not recognizing the move.

"Seto! I told you to only use ten percent!" Kyle hollered out from the crowd. I growled, angry at their cockiness.

"I'm only using five!" Seto retorted back, turning his head. "What? You want me to kill him?"

"Nah! Continue!" Kyle waved his arms, cheering for the brunet.

Seto smiled, the arms shrinking in length. I was off the ground, thrashing my feet as I was brought closer to the brunet. The electricity ball had gone away, and Seto's wind grip was growing. Slyly, he spoke. "What happened to that cockiness you had earlier?" Seto mocked.
