Nothing was alright.

The fire elemental user relapsed for a brief moment, huffing as he wiped the blood away from his cheek. His words were slurred, stuttered, and clearly filled with fear and undefinable sorrow.

"You're Seto Kaji—Prince Brice Purton Solace has been requesting your return so eagerly!" The male shouted, quickly dodging a blast released from the Sorcerer. "I believe in him, I'm trusting you to come back to us and stop this war, please! Join the Humans!"

The Sorcerer adorned in purple scrunched his nose, his voice cackling and clearly showing ridicule towards the supposed 'Human.'

"You call yourself Human now? Such a pathetic downgrade! Hybrids, in the end, are always seeming to have the equivalence to Humans; they're weak and useless, much like you to your own little rebellion."

Abruptly, the Sorcerer sent a kick to the fire elemental user's stomach, causing him to launch back. His black hair covered his eyes, clearly showing dismay. He grunted, barely managing to stand up on his feet. His hands were clenched into fists, his knuckles turning white and the fire beginning to spark all around him. He adjusted his rectangular frames, calming himself. Wiping the blood that was dripping from the corners of his mouth, he attempted to speak.

"Seto Kaji, I request on you behalf of the Prince, please—"

His sentence was cut short. A Sorcerer's dagger cut deep into his heart. He gasped for air, his eyes widening. He dropped to the ground, his head harshly hitting the grass with a loud snap. Seto drew his attention towards the body that use to be inhabited by a soul and gazed at his wristband. Black and red. He grabbed at it, but was surprised to see it disappear out of his hands. Strange.

"You put up as a good toy," he sneered, kicking his head, "but no Hybrid can match up to a Sorcerer's strength. Shame, by the looks of it you are only aged thirteen. They really need to step up their game."

With that, he turned and strolled out of the forest, leaving the body to rot.

"Brice!" Kyle called put, huffing as he reached the control center. The blond turned around in his swivel chair.

"Is he back?" The blond perked up, a wide smile crossing his face from ear to ear.

"No, but the mission," Kyle shook his head, "the mission was a success, we managed to gain more information about Seto's whereabouts—"

"Good. Hand me his wristband," Brice beckoned for the fuchsia haired male to come foreword. He did as told, handing him the black and red wristband. He carefully placed it on the desk. The recording of the battle played on the large monitor.

"The boy's name was Xiao Keji, correct? He's the one we sent out—the volunteer?" Brice's eyes were intently affixed on the bright screen.

"He's dead, Seto killed him," Kyle muttered, shifting his gaze towards the wooden floor.

Brice froze, releasing an exasperated sigh, "How old was he? Thirteen?"

"No, twelve. He was going to turn thirteen on September, but—"

"Say no more. Inform his crew and tell them to nominate someone else to lead them. He's a brave soul for going up against Seto, I'd have to admit that. The Rebellion isn't going to go smoothly without Seto, we need to keep getting information."
