Belle Reve was not a place for the people with weak fragile hearts. As soon as you saw someone and turned away, a new person would be even worse. Louise was one of those people who was worse than others. Apparently, the only way to get the best things was to give sexual favors. The men guards always tried to hit on her, but the women guards were much better as they actually went into the cell just to talk to her.

Nothing made her happier, not even the food. Other than that, she spent her time by coloring with the chalk that the female guards snuck in for her. Most of the guards thought her drawings were either beautiful to confusing. She spent her time drawing flowers mostly, especially daisies, and even writing the word "flower" in all capitals.

It was her way of punishing herself for the sins she had done. That she decided to go against God's will and got to choose who lived or died. It was a way for her to punish herself for killing the only person who understood her. Before the judge sentenced her to Belle Reve, he sent her to a twenty year sentence at a small prison. That was until she decided to kill everyone who got in her way, which was pretty much everyone in her prison.

That day she decided to be her own judge. Not God, but a judge that decided who was wrong or right. Even though she herself was wrong for killing 180 people and gave herself a two time life sentence. Contradicting is one word she would describe her sentencing.

Now here she was, drawing with red chalk on her flower then there was a knock on the door. She ignored it until they kept knocking till the point where it seemed like a "respective" authority figure.

"Name and business!" She yelled.

He slid the small border in the wall to speak clearly. "Guard Griggs and I've been given some news to tell you, scumbag."

"Scumbag is not an acceptable name to call me, but I guess I can pass it this time." He scoffed at her words. "What's the news?"

"Got a new guard taking care of you. Be nice to her. She is a scaredy cat." Griggs spilled the news.

She smiled wickedly. "The scared ones are my favorites."

He looked down the hallway. "Here she comes."

He left swiftly and quickly as he did not want to be in presence.
Louise went back to the floor coloring the flower she had drew on the floor in the corner. Then the door had open from the person with soft footsteps. The guard didn't know who she was.

"Hello! The Red- I mean Louise Ackerman." A weak feminine voice called out.

Or maybe the guard did know who she was.

"The Red what?" Louise asked covered in the shadows.

"The Red Misteress." The young guard replied.

"So that's what they call me. I thought it would have been something idiotic that the news made."

"No, the government made it up and it just stuck with the you."

Louise came out of the shadows to face the woman that was taking care of her for right now. She held in her breath of shock at what the woman looked like. She looked just like Daisy Simpson. Was this a punishment of God's cruel mind?

"What's your name, guard?"

She saluted for an unknown reason and replied, "Clover Walters."

Louise got up and Clover backed up into the wall. She was warned that prisoners would rebel and riot, she just wasn't prepared for it. Clover took out her baton and raised into the air until it came down. Clover was utterly confused since the academy said the criminals were all crazed animals.

Louise sat down and invited Clover to do the same. She did, but with extreme caution. Louise got her orange chalk from the container and marked a line between her and Clover.

Louise smirked, "I want to play a game."

"What's the game about?" Clover asked.

"It's simple game, even the most idiotic people could understand how to do it." Louise started to smile wickedly and held out her hand. "Do you accept?"

Clover's hand met her's in a handshake. "I do."

"Alright! You see this line." Clover nodded. "You have to find a way to tell me a message without crossing the line."

Clover was thinking how do this. Five minutes passed and Clover was still baffled while Louise still had her wicked smile. Her grin widened even more at the puzzled guard.

"Give up, already?" Louise asked.

"Yes," The guard breathed out. "I do give up on this."

Louise waved the guard inched closer, but not the length she wanted. Louise did it again ,but with more force. Clover inched her ear all the over the Louise's mouth and she could feel Louise's smirk on her ear. She sighed and looked down to see the her head had passed the orange line.

"You lose." Louise whispered then broke out into a fit of giggles.

The guard sighed, but smiled nonetheless. "You're a smart cookie for a criminal."

"Now, I get a prize." Louise cheered.

"What is that prize now?"

"You're my ally and now your kind soul can set me free."

"I can give you more free time on the court outside." The guard answered and put her hands on Louise's. "That's all I can give right now, but I promise that you can be free soon."

Louise smile fell from her face from a straight line. The guard was worried and shook the prisoner's shoulders. She repeated her name until Louise decided to jump on her and give her a huge hug.

"Thank you." Louise whispered. "Thank you for doing this. My soul's freezing, but hell's hot for good reason. Thank you, Flower."

The knock on the door disturbed them. "Walters, your shift is done!" Griggs yelled.

"Bye, Ackerman." She whispered to me.

"Call me Louise, Flower."

"Bye, Louise. One day I'll set you free."

"I hope that day comes soon."

And like that Clover was off to be with the other guards. Louise couldn't wait for Clover's next shift. How much fun they would have.
