"So you've made your decision? You chose them?"
The man glared. He pulled against his bindings and strained against the giant stone column he was chained to. His fellow prisoners looked at him in curiosity. He was covered in blood and wounds yet still he had the energy to fight back and resist. He was a stranger to them but was obviously someone very desired by their enemies; that made him a person of interest, and a possible ally.
The young man looked up at the balcony across the arena and spit, his voice carrying a heavy venom across the arena and into the filled stands. "There wasn't a choice to make."
The graying man looked disappointed and sighed, his head falling down slightly. He admired the younger man for his courage but was tired of his stubborn refusals to their cause. He'd hate to ruin the man's mind but an empty ship still maintains all of its power. They could still have their weapon.

The smaller green, goblin-like creature walked forward, leaning heavily on his walking stick. The two men and three clones behind them followed his movements with their eyes as they stood at the ready. They watched as the sage stepped up and placed a hand on the glass wall and closed his eyes.
"Much darkness in him there is...."
"But I have also sensed much good in him Master. He's not a lost cause." Their possible ally had defended many of his men and saved numerous lives, including Jedi. The boy couldn't be pure evil.
"No, but on the border of Dark and Light he is. Turn the tide of the war, he will" The men shuffled unsteadily and took closer detail at the stranger's face.
He's too young.
~~~"Why? Why would you stop me?"
"I'll fall into the darkness so you don't have to..."
