i struggled to open my eyes, shocked and confused.
i ripped my eyes open, my vision unexpectedly crystal clear.
i could see every floating grain of sand and air bubble.
most importantly, i could see him.
he was just as beautiful, his body relaxed as he freely floated, his hair completely out of his face.
he flashed me a reassuring smile as his muscular arms cut through the water to get to me.
he engulfed me in a warm hug in the middle of the deep, cold ocean.
i still didn't know who he was, but i didn't care anymore.
i was just happy that he was there.
