My Best Friend's Wedding (BWWM)

Planning,Bonding, Tears, and an unexpected surprise

Noleigh's POV

Today was a busy as Ang and me went around  with her wedding planner, ordering and arranging things for the wedding. Ang looked like a nervous wreak as we ran around town going from place to place booking caters and listening to different wedding bands to book for the reception. From time to time I would find April staring at me with what looked like envy, which kinda confused me since she really didn't care about Blaine using her but I think that there's something else that could be bothering her. When I see Ang walk off to talk with the band members I make my way towards April. 

"Hey what's wrong?" I ask in a soothing tone. She looks at me for a minute before speaking. 

" It's nothing, why might you ask?"  I nod my head. 

" Well..... you do know that me and Ang are here for you right?"  I look at her and she stares back for a minute before bursting out into tears. I hurry up and lead her to the restroom where's it's more private so people won't look at us strangely. As soon as we reach the bathroom she starts crying even harder as her face turns a deep red. I look at her in astonishment wondering what is causing her to cry like this. 

" When I was in college I fell in love with is guy named Zack, that I started dating my Junior year and we got pretty serious that . Well during the summer I brought him home with me to meet my family and they absolutely loved him including my older sister Sara.She would always talk about how hot he was and all of the things she would do to him but I never took it into consideration. About a week after we left Sara announced that she was pregnant which really confused me since she wasn't in a relationship at the time and she never talked about a guy. Around that time my boyfriend became a little distant after I told him that she was pregnant. After the baby was born he asked me to marry him which I accepted. Well two weeks before the wedding Sara and him both sat me down and told me that he was the father of her son and that they were very much in love. That day I called off the wedding." She explains with pain and sorrow written all over her face. 

"Well damn! Do you still see him from time to time since, you know?"  I reply feeling like shit that I thought of even hating her since I thought she would get in between me and Blaine but truth is she's just a broken hearted girl.

" Every family function I go to... that fucking bastard is there. They got married after I called the wedding off." She sniffs. I give her a much needed hug and tell her that it's gonna be alright and that calms her down a bit. 

" It's just that I love planning weddings but sometimes it brings me to tears at the thought of not being able to have my own. Like I see you and Blaine together and it just makes me wish that I could have someone to love me like that." She sobs into my blouse and I sit there for a moment and think Does Blaine love me? I quickly brush it off and continue to console her. Once she's finished she thanks me and give me another hug before we walk back out. 

As the day goes by I'm starting to notice a change in Ang a little she's not being her usually self and that bothers me. After dropping April off we head over to Annie's Diner a local diner that me and Ang always went to after football games back in our school days. Getting settled in I see Ang relax a bit which was a good sign. 

" I've missed this place" I say looking around at the old place remembering all the good times we've had here. 

" Me too, I remember we and Harper had our first kiss here." She smiles taking a sip of her strawberry lemonade. I can see it in her eyes how much she loves him and I know that his feelings are mutual. 

" Ahaha yeah I remember having to pry you two off of each other just so we could make it home before curfew." I laugh. 

" Ahahahaha then your mom kept asking why I was standing there in such a daze." She adds almost causing me to choke on my lemonade as I began to laugh with her. I recall countless times my mother asking me if Angeline was drunk that night and I would just shake my head.
