Packing my suitcase with all my needs in them and packing my schedule,house keys into my handbag,I was humming the song 'Selfish'by Pnb Rock.Im not really a big fan of Pnb Rock,just that my best-friend Maddie had forced me to accompany her to his concert last week as a going away gift for both herself and I.That is the only song I for some reason can't get out my head.Today happened to be the day we leave for university.Im very excited to be leaving the town I've been living in my entire life,unlike my mom she isn't wholly sure if it's a great idea to let me go.She's out right now trying to look for a going away gift,I had told her that there's no need on buying me anything,that all nineteen year of my living life was more then enough but she insist that she won't be satisfied if I leave empty handed.I had finally gave up on that fight and told her she only had about two hours.

On the other hand my father said that he'd try his best to catch me at the airport,If he doesn't then he'll go visit me on the holidays.Last night I had just dinner over at his house.One thing I haven't mentioned is that my parents are divorced so they live in different houses and now have their own lives.My father is now married and my mother is now a fiancé.Zach is her soon-to-be husband,don't get me wrong he's great and all.We get along very well but it's just not the same without dad here.

I'm now finished packing,I zipped up my suitcase  and grabbed my handbag,double checked for all my important objects in my bag then zipped it up as well.

I went into the living room siting on the couch in front of the coffee table.I turned on the big plasma tv on not knowing what to watch,I heard some keys rattling from the opposite side of the door.Soon mom appeared at the frame of the door with lots of brand bags.I chuckled knowing she must of be so stressed,I jumped off the couch to help her out and make her life easier.

"Mom!Why so many bags?"Curiously I opened one bag bright pink with black words written on it.It was a Christmas onesie of Rudolph the reindeer I've always wanted,it's just to cute.Wait a minute she's buying me into not going.

"I know what your doing your trying to buy me into staying"She gave a guilty smile.I was really going to miss her but I'm to excited for university.

"It didn't hurt to try"She smiled,but her smile was quite unhappy.Her eyes also teared up,which almost made me tear up.

"Mom don't tear up I'll come visit on days"I gave her big bear hug and it lasted long until my phone rang and it happened to be Maddie.

"Hello?"I answered the call and once I ended it she told me that she was outside the house with her parents in the Silver big truck.Her parents are dropping us off at the airport then we'll leave from there.

"Mom I'll miss you so much"I gave her one more tight hug until we walked outside.

"Me too honey"she gave me a half smile."Te Amo"

"Me too mom,tell Chris I'll miss him also"Chris is my older brother ,he is overly protective.He's with my dad right now because my father got him an interview for a job so he couldn't make it.He made the interview way before I had told them about me going to university."Tell Zach I'll see him soon"

"I will baby"she wiped a tear.

Making my way down the driveway meeting Maddie half way handing her ,her makeup bag she'd left here last week.She was also excited to leave her house as much as I was.
