Chapter V

                                 Chapter Five

I woke up by something shattering outside in the living room.I yawned checking the time on my phone.

It was only 4 am.

Damit.

I unwillingly got out bed and opened my door slowly.

"Travis ?"I whispered."What are you do-"

I was pulled into Travis room,with him putting his hand over my mouth so I won't make a noise.

"What are you doing"I swat his hand away from me.

"Shhh"He shushed me.

"Did you just sh-"

"Shhh"

"Shush me one more fuc-"He interrupted me again.

"Stella can you just be quiet for a second"He whispered yelled.

That's when I heard people whispering out side in the living room.Travis put his ear by the door trying to hear who it was.

"Who's out there?" I asked worried.

"I don't know"he opened the door slowly.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm going to go check,I'll be right back"

"No"I said pulling him back."Don't go"

"I have to go check"We heard a big thump and then laughter coming after it."Stay here."

He started walking but instead of staying here I followed him.Travis had grabbed a bat that was leaned against the wall just outside his room.He held it tight against his chest and I held onto his shirt.

Once we turn the corner to the living room Travis let his breath go letting the bat down.

"Oh look I'm a hot banana"We saw a big yellow sack bag over Caden's body.He was dancing around the small coffee table.

I saw Maddie on the floor dying of laughter.I heard noises in the the kitchen so I went to check.When I got there Noah was knocking on a pineapple.

"Come on buddy"He said knocking harder."I said I was sorry."

"Noah?" I asked completely confused.

"Hey Tella"He waves at me."My friend won't open the door"

His eyes are really red ,which explains why he's knocking on a pineapple.

"Why won't he open the door?"I asked taking the pineapple from him and placing it back on the counter"What happened?"

"I accidentally broke his spatula."He pouted raising a plastic fork up."I said I was sorry."

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to laugh.Like come on it's not everyday you see someone high saying dumb shit.I held in the laughter and helped him out of the kitchen.

"Ayy bro you finally decided to come to the party"Noah said giving Travis a 'bro' hug.

"Noah what'd you take?"Travis said slightly pushing him on the couch.

"Stell you should of seen,there was th-this have m-mercy guy at the party."Maddie uttered."He's got a hot cousin too,I got us double dates"

"Maddie."I laughed."Thanks boo but I have a boyfriend."

"You haven't even met him yet,and y'all are already going out."

I just smiled at her and tried to stand her up."Mad come on let's get you to bed"I tried tugging her to my room.
