I woke up from my sleep and stared into the eyes of an apparition. It looked as though he was screaming and black mist was coming out of his mouth, nose and where his eyes should be.

Instead of eyes in his sockets there was just black holes where I could see blood beginning to drip down on my face. I began screaming at the top of my lungs but the apparition had his hand covering my mouth.

I was terrified out of my mind and I couldn't move or do anything. Either it was a dream or I passed out from fear because next thing you know it's hours later and my alarm is going off.

I shakily stretch my arm to the end side table to turn it off. I was so scared that when I got out of bed I darted to the light switch and turned it on. Looking around my room I tried to slow down my adrenaline and my breathing.

My wolf was urging me to shift but there was no longer any danger around us. That morning I got dressed in the bathroom and as soon as I was done with my morning routine I left for school.

After school was going to be a little hectic, we have training and my brother requested a pack meeting tonight as well.

School was as boring as ever. Class after class I just worked away. Taking notes in certain classes etc.

By the time I got home from school it was 3:30 and I was dying for some Chinese food.

I called and ordered while waiting for Camilla to reply to one of my sarcastic remarks. Who knew I would be friends with vampires.

I drove over to Camilla's house and she and I played play station for a while. For once I think she wanted to have a serious conversation with me.

Vampires have a pledge to werewolves that they'll stop drinking the blood of humans and hunt for animals like wolves.

They also stand to protect the pact being soldiers if we were ever at war. To have permission on their territory.

I've heard of this being done before. Especially in the older times when vampires and werewolves didn't get along.

Wars were the common destroyer of packs but we're more civil in the twenty first century. We're more worried about protecting the secret of magic.

Keith and Camilla wanted to have that honor and I pack linked Ryan about it. He accepted and I was happy they were allowed on our land but sad because if a rogue attacks a pack like they did my parents, they would be required to fight our battles.

After I left Camilla's I got ready for my pack meeting at 5 and once everyone was gathered he told the pack about the vampires Keith and Camilla Anderson pledging themselves to the pack.

To my dismay Ryan also informed the pack about rogue's that have been wandering close to the pack borders.

I didn't know what had hurt more. The fact that my pack was in danger but so were my friends too.
