When I walked into the woods I followed the scent of the vampires. They smelt just like death but at least they weren't as bad as a zombie.

Of course witches can make spells to hide scents but that costs money, and why would you use it unless to commit a crime or if you were being hunted.

Humans can't smell their scent. The scent stopped at a tree and I looked up to see two vampires in the flesh. "I knew it was starting to smell like wet dog"

Said the male vampire with dyed red hair. He was pale but that was probably because he was dead. Sat next to him was a female who also had red hair but hers was darker colored.

"Bark Bitch" The dyed vamp jumped down from the tree and landed next to me. "I think I'm going to like this mutt, she's sassy"

The dyed vamp introduced himself as Keith Andersen and his girlfriend who stayed in the tree was Camilla.

They were married and also told me they've been alive for over two hundred years. The older a vampire gets, the more pale they become. But humans some also born pale too so it doesn't stand out.

I asked them how it was legal for us to attend school with 200 year olds but Keith told me it get's boring being alive for so long. I kinda understand it.

It's about gaining the knowledge that humans have of our world. So the council allows it. He also said that if it makes me feel better that he was turned when he was only 17. We hit it off quickly and everyone exchanged phone numbers.

When we parted ways for class we ended up on the topic of how Keith and Camilla met each other.

Apparently they grew up living next to each other and when Keith and Camilla turned 18 they married right out of high school.

He eventually admitted that he was a vampire and she wanted to live forever with him anyways.

I asked about why they both had red hair. Camilla's hair was always dyed red but she said when Keith was 16 he dyed his because he lost a bet.

Little did he know that when Keith turned Camilla both of them would have red hair for the rest of their lives.
