We got back to the dorm and Natalie was getting into a party dress. It's about 10 P.M. why is she putting on a party dress? "Where are you going?" I couldn't help but ask. "Oh there's always parties at the frat houses downtown on Friday nights. You coming? They're a lot of fun." She explained. "Sure. But, I dont have anything to wear." "Oh I have something for you." She told me. She walked to the small dresser beside her bed and pulled out a really short dress and about 5 inch heels. "No I'm not wearing that. I'll look like a slut." I scoffed. "Just try it on." She assured me. I walked to the other side of the dorm and put on the small dress. It went less than half way down my thighs. "It's short but I guess it'll do." I told her. "Great! Now put on the heels." I stared at them. I wasn't used to wearing heels, especially this tall of heels. I put them on anyways. They made me really tall.

"Can I do your hair and makeup??" Natalie begged me. "No, I don't wear makeup and I haven't really planned on it." "PLEEEEEASE?" She pleated. "Ugh fine."

She finished my hair and makeup in about an hour. I was actually pleased by the way I looked. I looked like a completely different person. I love it. We called a cab again and waited outside for it. I really need to get myself a car. We arrived at the party and I looked around at everyone. There were people dancing and grinding on each other. I think this was a bad idea. "Natalie!!!" A tall skinny man with a bunch of tattoos and piercings ran up to Natalie and hugged her and kissed her cheek. I gave her a confused look. "Brianna, this is my boyfriend, Alex. Alex this is my roommate, Brianna." She introduced us. "Hello." I awkwardly waved. "NAT!!" Another tall boy with tattoos and a few piercings ran up to Natalie. "Brianna, this is Austin, my brother, Austin this is my roommate, Brianna." Austin looked up at me and we looked at each other in the eyes. He was attractive. Very attractive but he was not my type. At all. I am just a small town girl who wears dresses with converses and reads books all the time and he is a tall city boy with tattoos and piercings and probably does drugs. No Brianna. Don't think about him. You're too good for him. My subconscious tells me. I ignore her. "Hi." I stick my hand out to shake his hand but he reached over and hugged me instead. He smelled like mint and something else. I'd definitely date him. Brianna. My subconcious warns. Gosh she can be so annoying sometimes.

"Do you want a drink?" Austin asked me. "No thanks." I smiled. "Bitch." I hear him whisper under his breath. "Excuse me?" I asked, shocked he would say something like that. "Nothing." He said casually. Maybe Austin isn't as nice as I thought he was.
