It's about 1:30 by now and I have been awake for about an hour thinking about my date with Austin. I am worried but excited at the same time. I just lay there staring at the wall just thinking, thinking about life about my first day of school tomorrow, just about everything. Soon, I see Natalie stir around and then sit up. She looked normal and then both of her long bony hands gripped either side of her head. Hangover, I assume. "Last night was fun and all but I have a huge headache." She told me, grinding her temples with her long fingers. "Sooo... Do you like Austin? I saw the way he was looking at you, he likes you Bri I can tell." My stomach drops everytime someone calls me that, I think this is going to happen a lot now that I am going to this school, might as well get used to it. "Yes he does like me. Last night, well technically this morning, I carried you in here and you passed out and then I went to go to the showers and I ran into Austin in the hall. He asked me if I wanted to go to dinner with him tonight and I said yes." Natalie was literally bouncing up and down on her bed of excitement. "How long have you and Alex been dating?" I asked when it got awkward. "About 4 years. He is the most loyal person I have ever met, besides Austin." She said. All day we just talked and ate everything in the mini fridge and cabinet. It was about 5 and I decided to get ready. I walked over to my dresser and got out a button-up plaid shirt, dark skinny jeans, and tan leather boots that went to my knees. I stared at myself in the body mirror. I am very pleased by my clothes. I grabbed Natalies curling iron and turned it on, while I waited for it to heat up, I did my make up. I got black eye liner, mascara, a light pink blush and some foundation. I put everything on after 5 tries of getting the perfect eye liner line. I grabbed the curling iron and curled the tips of my hair. I looked in the mirror. Wow, I look great. Very pleased. "Wow you look beautiful." Natalie said to me as I walked over to get a blue scarf out of my dresser. "Why thank you!" I smiled at her. Then there was a knock on the door... Wow already? Austin? I shifted over to the door and opened it with a smile. There was Austin, he was wearing dark jeans, white shirt, blue Supras and a Miami Dolphins Snapback. He was standing there holding a rose. I grabbed the rose and hugged him, as I started to pull away he didn't let go. I stayed there for a minute just embracing the hug and his scent and the moment. Then he pulled away and kissed my cheek. "Well are you ready?" He asked. "Yup lemme get my phone real quick. I walked into the dorm and Natalie was sitting on her bed smiling like an idiot. "Good luck. AUSTIN DONT HURT HER GOT IT!!" she yelled at Austin. The fact that she has to tell him that makes my heart beat faster. Let's hope this goes well.
