The nice lady pushed open the door to my dorm. "And these are your new roommates: Mia, Addison, and Hunter. Girls, help her unpack and get settled in please!" then she left. We heard the click-clacks of her high heels as she left. I stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do. Finally, someone spoke. "Hi! I'm Hunter. Mia and Addison are shy so they probably won't say much until you get to know them. This is Mia on my left, and that is Addison next to Mia," Hunter said. Hunter had messy brown hair like me. She had freckles under her brown eyes and black glasses. She was wearing a t-shirt and some athletic shorts with nothing on her feet. "Hi, nice to meet you all," I said shyly. Mia had reddish-blonde hair and it was perfectly put into a ponytail. Addison had blonde hair which was perfectly put into two braids. Mia and Addison seemed to smile at me, though it was hard to tell. "Well you can have the bed next to the window," Hunter said. That was good, maybe I could see Arion in the pasture when he was turned out. Mia and Addison sat down and whispered to each other while Hunter came over to me. "So do you own a horse?" She asked. "Yeah, his name is Arion. He's a dapple grey gelding," I replied. "Oh, that must be so awesome. I wish I owned a horse, but I'm fine with riding one of the academy's horses. I especially like to ride Cobalt. He's such a good jumper. But then again I also like Vinny," she babbled. "Sorry, I talk a lot," she added. "It's fine," I laughed. This seemed to be the start of a great friendship.
