SupermanPOV
It feels as if death taught me more
about my purpose more than life did.
I am here for one reason... to save people, to protect earth, to be a savior. I don't have to be a god to them. Just someone they can rely on. Maybe he didn't understand that. Maybe he felt that he failed me.... somehow. I don't think he did. He formed a team in my absence. These people were like me before my death, souls who were trying to discover their purpose. I was so confused at that time. I'm no longer confused now. I managed to find him looming over the remains of his own past mistakes. I tried to reason with him. He hit me instead.
BatmansPOV
What was he doing here... it couldn't of been him. It was nothing but a figment, something in my head trying to reason with me. I still had my armor on. Not that I needed it for a vision. I tried hitting it, but it was powerful. Either my head created an invincible ghost, or it was him. No... not now. He needed to be dead. I wasn't finished. I haven't made it up to him yet. I failed him in life and death. I did what I had to... I had kryptonite. I had taken some fragments from the spear that was used during the doomsday incident. During our first fight. I had sharpened it into a knife. I was going to stab him. I tried to multiple times swinging left and right but to no avail.... but then I had him, I was going to do it... kill him. Until another figment stopped me. But maybe this time this other vision was real, something that my head did make. But I was wrong again. However maybe I was right. It was a vision, just not the one I had expected. So that was a sort of insightful chapter. Who or what is this Vision batmans talking about? Find out next chapter! Sphinx 98
