The cold leafbare air blew over riverclan with ease as the cats slowly awoken to the sunrises dim light passing through there dens on this leafbare day.
The slim gray tom rose from the warm den as he placed his paw on the thick white sheeted earth, his pads stung with pain as his pads touched the white earth. A cold shiver slid down his curved spin as the tom took in the cold Leafbare breeze flicking his long slim tail.
As he stride away from his den the silvery brown she cat IvoryPool called out to him
"Good morning FoggyEyes" The she meowed her voice gentle and sweet.
"Good morning to you as well IvoryPool" The large gray tom meowed in reply as the she smiled and continued to play with her three kits. He strides around the camp glancing with dull eyes at the frozen water in disgust as the LeafBare wind blew against his thin coat, he held the shiver as he saw the clan soon come to life as the cloud covered sun rose into the sky taking its place and hiding starclan for the day.
The tom closed his eyes as he thought 'Another day with a half empty stomach' As the tom felt a large pain in his stomach as he'd grunt hunger claws at his stomach, the tom tryed pushing his hunger away but left it as he heard SunStar call the clan to gather as he'd stride over. He'd place himself by a small apprentice She with a glossy brown with white and black spots 'SpottedPaw' and a large full black with a white eye spot tom at his left his dark gaze full of greif of the lose of the fish 'WhiteEye'. The tom thought as he'd look at SunStar The orange sandy colored she stood tall on Wetrock as her fire like eyes stayed down on the clan.
"I called you all here for a clan meeting as you know our fish supply is low.." SunStars voice trailed off as WhiteEye yowled his tone thick with sadness
"Low?! The rivers and streams are frozen solid and we only have six scrawny water voles and two trouts and we have meny hungery mouths to feed!"
The whole clan gasped in shock as the leader looked at the tom her eyes blazed for a second before becoming soft.
"As I was saying....WhiteEye is correct but I have a plan for now feed the queens and elders then FoggyEyes before you feed yourself we need them to stay as strong as possible!"
The she cats tone strong and willing hiding the fear in her tone. The gray tom growled
"SunStar I highly recommended not feeding me I have my herbs, I don't need it they need it to hunt and fight for us so they must be fed instead of me!" FoggyEyes said with ease with a tint of anger as his gray eyes stared Along SunStar. The she's eyes wide as they look in his and the she replied
"Fine then do as FoggyEyes said he wants to starve for this clan like a true clan cat and I respect that so for now clan dismissed!" The she said as shed send a narrow stare at FoggyEyes. Leaping down Wetstone she paced off to her den. FoggyEyes nodded in approval to the leaders words as he'd stride off like every other cat in the clan did.
