Ella thankfully did not have class this morning. Being a Creative Writing major, she would have a lot to deal with if she did on this cold January morning. Sleeping until twelve was her specialty and very much called for just because she felt like it. When she did wake up at twelve thirty, Annie was gone, but her bed was a mess and just seeing it clash with her neat and clean room irked her. With an hour and an half to use the bathroom, shower, get ready, eat and get to the library, Ella acted as though she had all the time in the world.

Now for any normal person, this would be a reasonable amount of time, they wouldn't dilly dally. They knew their task and followed it. But Ella spent the first thirty minutes singing and dancing to music in the bathroom before actually getting into the shower. And once she did, by the time she got out she had only forty mintues left.

Running out of her apartment building she wrapped a scarf around her neck and hung her blonde hair in a ponytail to dry. She slipped her bag over her shoulder and continued moving. She decided to skip making an actual breakfast and just get a coffee. Even though being late to work a shift at the library wasnt dire, she hated being late anyways. Luckily for her, a coffee shop was planted conveniently right across the street of her apartment building.  Expecting this to be a quick trip, she took her time getting across only to find it unusally crowded.

"Great" she muttered with an eye roll as she stepped in line behind an old lady who reeked of antique perfume.

It took a total of ten minutes to wait in line, order, and actually get her drink and muffin.

But she walked fast as she drank and ate, she could only hope she would see the boy from last night.

Walking into the library always invigorated her. The large rows and isles of books  she had yet to read always excited her. Watching people sit around and immerse themselves into a story. In a library, the possibilities and expansion of your imagination were endless. Books were only thoughts made physical, all you need is your mind to make it visual. Thats what Ella loved about the library; Here, her mind was open and free to breathe. No one could stop where her mind wandered except her, and here, there were a million places to visit.

Making her way to the casualities desk, she passed the girl just getting off. They waved and said small greetings.

Finally being settled, having taken off her coat and pulled out her book, she glanced over to the couch by her desk. She did a double take.

It was the boy from last night.
