[COMPLETED]Happy Once Again

Chapter 6

After the song ended, it became less akward. He started asking me a lot of questions.
      When did you start watching me? Which was your favorite vlog? How long have you been doing tricks?
     Of course I answered them all. I was glad that I didn't have to feel akward anymore.
         Once we got to the skate park, I got to meet a few of his YouTube friends. Jake Angeles, Corey Funk, Capron Funk, and some others. They were really funny, and let me join in on the fun. It was pretty weird when they all were vlogging It was really funny when Tanner swore and apologized, but I told him I swear all the time. He was a little shocked. Obviously he has never met me.
       I started skating around and warming up a few tailwhips and tailgrabs. Then we went to the half pipe, which we did harder tricks.
     I told Tanner I was going to do some flairs and double flairs. He looked at me like I was crazy.
       Yes, I am 13 years old, but I have been on a scooter since 3. I learned a tailwhip at 5. And a flair at 10. I look like all I can do are easy skills, like 180 half cabs, barspins, finger whips. Which I can definitely do. But I can do way better than that.
         I went to the other side of the indoor park, and started skating around. Then, I went for it. Not to glance over at all the boys taking videos of me, I went up for a flair. I came down landing it. The moment I hit the ground, I hear them screaming "Oooo" and "Ahhh". I stop my scooter and start laughing. I ride my scooter towards them, and they all high five me. I really don't know why because that was pretty easy.
      "Good job kid." Tanner says.
    I smile at the word kid.
Jake then goes up to do one, and fails. We all laughing at him. He rides over and stops infront of me. With a smile he says "show off." I laugh and he does too.
         I watch them all do some tricks, and laugh at a few fails. I go up to do a few double flairs, and land them. In a double flair, you feel like you are flying. Soaring through the air, twisting. The amount of determination you have to land a double flair, is extraordinary.
       "One more!" They chant. I sigh because I have done 9 double flairs now. But I'm having fun, so I have to do one more. I skate my scooter up to the half pipe, and twist. But this time, I land on the back of the scooter. I fall backwards, and hit my shoulder on the ground. In the matter of 2 minutes, I'll be rushed to the hospital.
