Y/N's POV

When I woke up this morning, if you had told me I would be kissing Camila Cabello by the end of the day; I probably would've laughed right in your face.

But here I am, doing just that.

And despite how nervous and flustered I felt, Camila's pulse was somehow racing far more than mine was. I could feel her erratic heartbeat from where my hand was resting against her neck.

When we finally separated a few seconds later (which really felt like an eternity later), Camila's chest was rising and falling quickly, as if she was trying to catch her breath. It definitely matched the way her cheeks were tinged a light pink.

Before, it was almost like Camila didn't want to look into my eyes, but now; she couldn't seem to look away.

"Again." The brunette in front of me breathed, her voice slightly husky. I was surprised at what she said.

"...W-what?" I cursed myself for stuttering again; especially at a time like this. It was a few seconds of silence before she spoke, this time her voice was stronger.

"Again." That was all Camila said before rushing forward to close the small gap between us, roughly pressing her lips to mine for a second time. I stumbled backwards at the gesture and her hands instantly shot up to rest on my sides. I didn't push her away; instead, I took small steps backwards as she pushed forward.

Camila's hands roamed everywhere around my back and sides and face and by a few seconds in, it was almost as if there weren't many places she hadn't graced with her touch yet.

When my knees hit the side of the bed, I was surprised to fall backwards. Somehow, Camila seemed to be glued to me, our lips never parted.

Now that I was laid back over the bed, Camila wasted no time in straddling me, her knees on either side of me. Her hands found themselves entangled in my hair at the same time her tongue found its place in my mouth. Granted things were moving quickly, I had no problem with this. It's not every day that your crush wants to do these things to you out of nowhere. And besides, Camila was quite the kisser.

I had no concept of time as the seconds turns to minutes; not once did we stop or break some kind of physical contact. At one point Camila had shifted her attention from my mouth to my neck, and I could only hope that she would be kind enough to make sure there wouldn't be any marks left when she was done.

The only thing that pulled my attention away from Camila was the voice that sounded downstairs, someone calling out about being home early.

That was when Camila's demeanour completely changed.

"Holy fuck." She cursed, swiftly pulling back to break the kiss and tucking some hair behind her ear. Camila pulled herself off of me, jumping from her bed faster than I'd ever seen her move. "Shit." She swore again, shuffling over to her mirror to fix her hair from where my hands had been.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I rose from her bed, moving over behind her so I could see over her shoulder into the mirror to fix my hair as well. I heard the voice call out from downstairs and all the shuffling that followed, but still wasn't sure of what was going on; or why Camila was freaking out.

"My parents are home early, they should've been coming home a lot later than this." She mumbled out after fixing up her clothes, now rushing over to her cupboard and fumbling with various pieces of attire; I decided to stay quiet and found out what she was up to by waiting.

I didn't have to wait long, Camila soon came over with a scarf in hand. While I was confused when she first started to wrap it gently around my neck and the way her eyes were focused on my skin there; I soon figured out what had happened.

"Sorry..., you can borrow this." The brunette shrugged as a light pink rose to cover her cheeks, but she quickly turned around to open her door. "C'mon, let's go." I followed as she left the room and started down the stairs.

"There you are-, oh, you didn't tell us you had a friend over." I heard a kind voice call out from where I assumed the kitchen might be.

"Sorry Mami, this is Y/N. She has to go home now anyway." Camila's speech sounded a lot higher than usual as she smiled, but it wasn't the same kind of smile as earlier. The smirk on her face was like nothing I'd seen before. Something was different about her right now and I decided that I didn't like this Camila.

"Well, it was nice to meet you, Y/N." A short, smiling woman appeared from another room and gave me a small wave. "I hope to see you again some time." I waved back with a smile, but didn't have time to reply with Camila tugging me out the front door. She quickly shut the door behind us and let out a sigh of relief. I'm not sure why though.

"Okay." Camila looked down at the floor, shuffling her feet side to side.

"Okay." I responded, my voice a whisper. I didn't really know what else to say in a situation like this. She turned her head to the right, as if she was checking inside of the house to make sure no one was looking. I concluded that it must've been what she was doing, because the next thing she did was step forward to quickly kiss me one more time. Camila was fast to stare down at the floor again.

"Sorry to kick you out like this." She apologized, but I just shrugged.

"It's all good. I get it." I waved it off and glanced over to the right, taking a step to leave.

"See you tomorrow?" When I looked back, Camila somehow appeared hopeful and desperate at the same time. I nodded.

"Of course."

---

The next time I saw Camila was in Maths class the next day. She was sitting in the same spot next to me that she'd managed to secure for herself, looking down at where she was playing with her hands in her lap. When I finally made it into the room, she lifted her head to look at me with a bright smile; her whole face lit up. I returned the smile, of course, as I took my usual seat that was now next to her. We had a small conversation about how our mornings had been so far, but had to become silent once the teacher entered the room.

I'd expected her to completely ignore my existence after last night; it wasn't like we had any obligation to each other.

That's why I was surprised when Camila glanced around the room and then continued on to hold my hand under the table for the rest of the lesson.

I didn't pull away, though.
