A/N: AWW HECK AN UPDATE EVERYBODY STAY CALM KSJHD ALSKJDA

Y/N's P.O.V

The pain I felt last night was nothing compared to how I felt waking up in the morning.

And somehow, just somehow; the searing physical pain was nothing in comparison to the pain I would feel in my heart going to bed at the end of the day.

But it started out great.

When I first tried shifting on the bed, I didn't get very far. (Keyword being tried.) I realized this was for two reasons.

The first reason was the horrendous aching that was coursing all throughout my arms, spreading along my back and down the rest of my body with no hints of subsiding anytime soon, obviously due to the extensive use of the muscles I don't usually need.

The second reason was the body bundled up in the sheets on the bed and pressed firmly into my side. When I opened my eyes to observe I was now lying on my back, I lifted my head slightly to see Camila as close to me as she possibly could be. The places where her skin touched mine were warm and made me momentarily forget about the pain in my body.

She was lying somewhat on her side with her head resting partly on my chest, her arm hooked around my own and almost like she was hugging it close to herself. I could feel her slow, steady heartbeat from where my arm was held tightly against her chest and it was strangely calming.

And the way the sunlight filtered through the thin curtains and onto her face was the reason I didn't try moving again until she woke up.

I sat quietly watching Camila's face until her eyebrows furrowing downward, the action simultaneous with the tensing of her upper body. Her eyes eventually opened, and she jumped a little bit when she noticed the position we were in on the bed.

Camila's face become one of alarm until she lifted her head and locked gazes with me, as soon as she did; I didn't miss the way she breathed out, almost in relief. It had me wondering who she could possibly be afraid to wake up next to in her own bed.

I soon forgot about this when Camila smiled. The way the edges of her lips curled up along with her still half closed tired eyes had me appreciating just how beautiful she really is. It had me wishing those lips were pressed up against mine in this small irrelevant room with the door locked, a place in which we could pretend.

Pretend that Camila didn't have a boyfriend.

Pretend that I didn't have to go home later in the day.

Pretend that there was nothing more existing in this world besides just us.

And lately, it seems as if Camila can read my mind, because she shifted slightly in the sheets so she could move forward and connect our lips in a sweet kiss.

A kiss that made me feel more than I ever had felt in my whole life before this moment.

The kiss ended too quickly when the brunette pulled back, but my bliss continued when she maintained eye contact and opened her mouth to speak to me.

"Mornin' Y/N." The raspiness evident in her voice thanks to the post sleep state she was still in only made me smile wider.

"Mhmm." I hummed, my mouth still  unable to form words after being caressed by Camila's own so early in the morning.
