Lunar has been abused her whole life until she finally does something about it. She moves into a home for kids with abusive parents where she meets two teenage boys Ethan and Grayson with the same problems as her.
"Stop fucking hurting me" I yelled as I pushed him back. "Stop obeying my fucking rules lunar" He screamed in my face Tears welled in my eyes. I was scared, he slapped me across the face one last time. My face burned as I grabbed it with my hands. "P-Please stop" I sobbed as he raised his hand again.
I ran, he chased me trying to grab onto me. I ran for my life out the door and down the street, my heart was beating so fast. I wasn't going back there, never, never again.
I had no idea where to go. I wanted to go to the police station and get help.
"How can I help you m'aam?" The officer said, his eyes on his paper. "My step dad was hurting me, I-I think he was trying to kill me" I stuttered "Ok can you tell me his name please?" "Allen ballinder" I said choking on my words "Mhm and can you please tell me what happened?" He said writing down details "Well- he told me to clean up my mess and I said he couldn't tell me what to do so he smacked me across face and then I tried to get away and grabbed a hold of my neck and tried to choke me I couldn't breathe. And then I finally broke free and he slapped me again and I ran" I said tears sliding down my cheeks.
"Ok, and what is your name?" He asked with his brow raised "Lunar" I said wiping my eyes "Surname?" "Lunar Castwell" I repeated "Lunar castwell" he mumbled under his breath as he wrote my name down. "I'll be with you in a minute" he smiled "Take a seat" he said gesturing his hand towards the waiting area.
He got away with killing my mom and my sister. I've always been so scared of him and I'm finally doing something about it.
I waited for about 2 hours until a tall blonde lady came out. "Hi Lunar, I'm Sandra" I'm the runner of the kids for kids house" she began "We have a home just down the road for kids like you with abusive parents to stay whilst the police investigate further" she smiled "U-Um ok" I said "Follow me" she said turning I got up and followed her out to her car. "I don't have any clothes" I told her "It's ok we have plenty" she smiled "It's going to be alright Lunar" I felt safer being with Sandra but I was still afraid. We pulled up at a medium sized house and hopped out. The wind woodshed past me sending quivers down my body. I was wearing a pink silk pajama dress and my ripped denim jacket. It was freezing. She lead me inside where she checked me in. "Okay I will introduced you to the other kids" We walked down a hallway stopping at doors "This is Laura" Sandra said smiling. She looked at me "hey" I gave her a warm smile "Hi" she said and just looked back at her book "She's not the friendliest" Sandra explained We walked into about 8 rooms until she reached a room right next to mine. "Your room is next but I will just introduce you to the twins first, they are 16 just like you" she smiled. "Ethan and Grayson can you open your door please ?" She said knocking The door swung open "This is Grayson" Sandra said He had a hoodie over his head covering his face. "Hey I'm Lunar" i said giving him a friendly smile. He reached to his head and pulled of his hood. "Hi" he smiled He has brown hair with a few gold streaks at the front, it was messy. He had soft pink lips. "Where's Ethan?" Sandra asked "ETHAN" Grayson yelled looking behind him. He came lazily to the door. He was a spitting image of Grayson but he had messy dark hair with faded streaks at the front. "This is Lunar, she will be staying in the room next to you two" Sandra explained "Hi Lunar I'm Ethan" he said "Hey" I smiled They were both incredibly hot. Sandra then showed me to my room. "I will get you some clothes and a towel" she smiled "I will be right back" I walked over to the bed and jumped onto my back. I pulled out my phone from my pocket. I texted my best friend. Messages Me- hey A my dad was being abusive again.. im at this stupid place for a few nights xx I miss you!
