After Trevor was accused of his wife and children's murder everyone was on the look out for him. An APB was sent out in order to locate him, missing photos going up on cork boards, in supermarkets, on telephone poles and more, in a desperate attempt to find him. No one had heard from him in weeks, with citizens fearing that he was at large and the police fearing that he had either been murdered or had died so they could not arrest him and have justice serve him right.

They tried to ping his phone but as his GPS, WiFi and Location was all turned off, there was no possible way to hack his phone and find his whereabouts. Iris was back and so she tried contacting everyone she could but no one was available, even some of the most trained people she knew said they could not help.

They decided to go to his brother, Rick, in an attempt to locate Trevor, as Rick was most likely the last person to speak with him before his mysterious disappearance as he was living with Rick after the murders for quite a number of weeks, in fear of going back to his home. Upon arriving at Rick's home, the house was in a frenzy. Papers were stacked everywhere, many newspapers still left on his front porch and from the publish date written on the front, they had been there for quite a few weeks. The front door was open and the inside of the home smelled like booze, drugs and noodles, which was probably his only source of drink, release and food.

The police yelled out to him but no one answered back. They entered his home, if you could call it that, with caution, careful of what might jump out at them, whether it was Rick, Trevor who could be possibly armed or something else. Cautiously walking in they caught a glimpse of someone walking into what looked like a bedroom at the end of the hall. Proceeding carefully, they yell out to whoever it was stating that they are the police and low and behold out comes Rick, placing his glasses over his glassy eyes to see who is making so much noise at such an early time in the day.

The police lowered their guns and talked to a frantic and most likely hungover Rick for around ten minutes before realising they were at a dead end. The last thing he mentioned however made complete sense and they decide to follow up on it within the limited time frame they had. Rick had told the police that Trevor called him saying he was going to a supermarket around the same time that he was reported missing. After getting back in their government issued police vehicles, they sped off to the supermarket, located twenty minutes from their current location.

Upon arriving they noticed a car that was gathering a lot of dust, had many stains of bird droppings, and had quite a few spiders running over it within their webs. This car had clearly been there for at least two to three weeks, and hadn't moved. Upon inspection of this car, it was completely empty besides a web of spiders on the dashboard.  Three policemen including Iris went into the store, to find any clue regarding where Trevor might be residing.

Inside, there were no obvious signs of Trevor ever being here, besides his car that was parked outside within the parking lot. After inspecting the underneath of every shelf within the store they came across Trevor's wallet, containing his ID, license, credit cards and more. They had asked to see video footage recorded of that night a few weeks ago. The footage showed nothing but Trevor being knocked out in aisle 7 and being dragged away by a hooded figure with dark hair after they had bought cable ties.

After this it just showed someone taking money from Trevor's wallet and ditching it under the shelf. Which was not important. The footage showed Trevor being pulled out the back door so they ran out the back and found nothing but a faded trail coming from the back of the store. Deciding the follow this as it was the only lead so far, they travelled down this way for around 20 minutes. Halfway through they suggested trying somewhere else but they continued to follow the paint. Iris was called in by the precinct so she turned around and went back to follow up on what she hoped was a new lead

The paint finally pooled outside a cream house that seemed to be freshly painted. A two story house was in front of the police. Located in the middle of the woods, it seemed as though there was no way Trevor would not of woken up during the ride here, due to the bumpy roads and the loud traffic in the surrounding areas. But somehow he manage to stay knocked out. At least that's what they had assumed. An unusual type of car was parked outside of the home. Perhaps a car that was imported or was originally made in another country?

Instead of checking the home first, they checked the surrounding forest. Within the woods, they found many traps, usually set for bears but in this case tailored to humans, with money set in the middle of a half buried bear trap, which had become uncovered due to elements. Slowly by putting a stick into the bear trap, it snapped closed, and suddenly something that resembled the sound of bells started ringing, continuously for at least three minutes when they stopped altogether with no reason. After firing a shot from a police issued firearm, one of the policemen noticed that the bullet looked similar to that of which had killed Ranee and Ryan, on that unfortunate day.

Due to the fact all of the standard issued weapons have the same bullet indentations as the guns are all manufactured almost identically to the last, it had to of been a police issued weapon that had killed them. With this information uncovered it made it seem as though Barry was indeed the real culprit and was just leading them on, however they had to follow every lead no matter if it was a dead end or not as it could uncover more information.

They ran back to the home, in case anyone was stirred due to the loud ringing noise and decided to inform Iris of the current situation, however she was answering her cell and the precinct was most likely closed already. Simultaneously, all the police circled the home and kicked open the front and back door off its hinges and leaning halfway onto the wooden floor that had splatters of paint permanently marked on the floorboards. Policemen quietly walked into the room on the left making sure it was clear until walking into the open plan home.

The lounge room kitchen and dining were all connected. They carefully walked around the side of the couch and aimed their guns at what they thought would be a floor with someone hiding. However, there was no one there and soon enough they heard movement coming from upstairs. They made their way up the stairs and checked every room, to come across absolutely nothing. Paint cans were placed throughout the house along with brushes and rollers doused in old paint.

Accidentally slipping over some paint, one of the policemen discovered scratches in the wood underneath the recently spilt paint. It was directed to the way of the basement, but they decided to check the attic first. Pulling down the lever and climbing up the stairs the police found multiple items that seemed to belong to Trevor, men's clothes and a pair of expensive leather shoes that you could only find on the wealthy side of town.

The noise that they had heard was just a rat running across the wood and into the other room. Making their way down the stairs and into the second floor of the house. After rechecking they make their way down once more into the first story of the home. After looking out the windows to make sure no one was there besides the police, they hear a thump from below the home, signalling the possibility of a hidden entrance to a basement. After searching for maybe 15 minutes they finally found a hidden entrance in between the wallpaper of the kitchens pantry.

Pulling open the pantry wallpaper and opening the door they make there way down, along with all the police including the ones outside, and walk down one more flight of stairs. Carefully turning on the light they walk down the stairs turn around and walk to the opposite side of the basement. Turning on another light the view of a injured and tortured body is spotlighted in the middle of the room.  The body belonging to Trevor.

After carefully being untied from the chair by using a Stanley knife they lay him out on the floor and call an ambulance. They hear a car pull away from upstairs and immediately try to run through the house to get there but the door to the basement is locked. Suddenly, Trevor starts gagging, and manages to spit out the words: "IRIS. It w-was Iri-s. Put-t it t-together, p-please."
