It all made sense

Iris being the murderer. How did no one notice all the coincidences?

As soon as they got close to the house in which Trevor was held hostage aft, Iris suddenly got a mysterious call keeping her away. The loud noise of a car driving away, was Iris leaving and the thump was her trying to get out of the house.

The stolen police car? It was her driving away quickly from the scene. The ID found in the car was there because they were partners and rode in the car together so she had access to his credentials. And her reaction to when she arrested him like she was victorious, it was because someone went down for the murders that she had committed.

She could use the sirens and lights to speed away quickly and efficiently. The Louis Vuitton shoes? Trevor saw them through the blindfold. When she subconsciously moved her shoes. The bang when she dropped something at the neighbours home, David Finch. That was her dropping the shoes under his couch so they wouldn't find them on her. She stuffed her shoes into her cupboard so her shoes prints could not be found anywhere as she was rich and could afford expensive footwear.

When she was notified about the skid marks found she immediately stood up, shocked that they had found them so quickly. She met with the superintendent about it and was sweating the entire time, having to wipe away sweat on her forehead from panicking about if they could find proof that she was the real perpetrator.

She had created a broken window in order to make it seem as thought someone broke in and hijacked the car by hotwiring it. The bag had all of Barry's identification so they could of easily framed him.

Iris took leave from work in order to have construction work done on her house. She had paint brushes in the back of the stolen police car along with some boxes and paint. The house in which they had discovered in the forest seemed to be freshly painted, as was Iris's house. While she took a leave of absence no one could find Trevor, indicating that both of them were out at the same time.

Barry had constantly been mumbling Iris's name throughout his stay at the correctional facility. He would draw pictures of both Barry and Iris using blood that he used from his fingertips and nails after continuously scratching the wall until his fingers bled. One of the drawings was a picture of a female wearing a police officers hat and badge. The only female police officer that was ever mentioned was Iris. They were holding a metal object that seemed to be possibly a metal pole or knife, indicating that Barry knew that she was responsible for the murders of Vanessa, Ranee and Ryan. The metal pole could of indicated the object that was being scratched against the wall  while Trevor was kidnapped.

The person that was seen leaving the crime that night was of average height, a female wearing lack and had very tan skin and the only person fitting that description was Iris. Barry would only talk to Iris, also known as the murderer, maybe because he needed to discuss his protection if he were to tell the police.

That night just before finding Barry, the person who knocked him out was seen driving a foreign car and that same foreign car was seen at the home in the forest, the supermarket and at the precinct whenever Iris was there. It was also mentioned that her car was Albanian. Iris had also purchased cable ties that day to only have Trevor tied up with cable ties.

The police had immediately sent out three parties. One to stay at the house to investigate and see if they could reveal anything further. A second team that would go back to the precinct and string together all the coincidences linking her to the crime, in which there were plenty. The could connect the dots on the cork board and they all would make sense. And the third party who was out looking to arrest her, after they had pinged her phone at the gas station closest to the border. The first group reconvened with the second and then they split off into independent groups searching for Iris all around the state, which happened to be quite small.

Between the three of the groups the best Intel they could receive was from a man in his 40's who reported seeing her driving south near to where the docks are located. The police knew that she would try to get out of the country or the state at least. So they put up blocks at every part of the border. They put up road blocks at the all four borders of the state as well as at all bus stops, docks and airports within the state.

They decided to try to locate Iris at the boat docks first as that was where the man said he saw her. She was apparently wearing a straw hat so the police were looking for that staple piece. They travelled down the highways contemplating how stupid they were for not realising that it was Iris orchestrating the entire set up. Murdering them and then somehow, for months, going "undercover" as what someone would call a double agent and actually working against her self in order to escape.

They jumped out of their cars and ran down to the docks were they witnessed hundreds of people boarding the boats for the holiday weekend. They knew for a fact they would most likely not find her anywhere near here as, even though it was quite crowded, it was not as crowded as an airport or bus station where she could blend in more. However they had no other choice than to search the docks in order to find the murderer at large.

At the very end of the docks they caught a glimpse of a woman wearing a straw hat. They immediately ran over to her and surrounded her yelling at her to put he hands up. Everyone around her ran off but she continued to board the boat unaware of what was going on around her. She was tapped on the shoulder and turned around. Although she had the same complexion as Iris, this woman appeared to be deaf, as she started signalling in hand signals, indicating she was using sign language as a way to communicate

They decided to check the closest place possible which was the airport. Frantically they had two teams guard the two most popular entryways in case they spotted Iris in or around the airport. They checked if anyone matching her description had recently bought a ticket but all the sellers replied with the same negative response. The police split up in order to account for her whereabouts by asking the women standing at the front of terminals if they had seen anyone who looked similar to her had been past. But again, a negative response.

By this time it was 2 am and they were yet to find Iris, but Iris had found them. She had their phones tracked and knew where they were going to strike next. They had chosen to check the road blocks posted throughout the state, however they were heading to the east border. Iris, being the intelligent being that she was, used her police badge in order to get through to the west border. She ran through the streets of downtown, carefully trying to avoid knocking into anyone, in case they recognised her from all the wanted posters that were displayed throughout the state.

Ripping down wanted posters as she ran she was able to make it to the bus station in time for the next bus trip travelling to Ashborne. Knocking into a little girl as she was running, she apologised and continued on her journey to a ticket seller. She patiently waited in line until she was being served. She showed her badge and the seller gave her a ticket to Ashborne straight away, without asking for payment. She made a quick stop at the Automated Teller Machine and deposited money into two bank accounts, the accounts for the people that had helped her by distracting the police at the docks.

After glancing one last time at her cell phone with a deep, saddened look on her face, she tossed the cellphone into the trash after breaking it,depressed at what she had to do. Following the police realising that she was indeed who they thought she was, it made it easier to take hey fiancee down with me

He had protected Iris  from the police after that rampaged through his house, while he was drunk no less. Stalling ,giving them information about the supermarket, allowed for her to make their getaway as she received a phone call from a certain someone: Rick. Now she loved Rick, she really did but he is a pain in her ass. First confessing his love for her and then cheating on Iris with his twin brothers wife?! Now that, is unheard of! She wanted him. All. To. Her. Self. By killing Vanessa and the kids, Trevor had nothing to hold onto, so Iris was able to have him all to herself, while breaking Rick's sympathetic little heart in the process. Or, as she liked to call it, achieving her goals.

As she finished reminiscing about her time with Vanessa and her god awful children, policemen started forcing drivers to stop their busses, in order for them to be inspected. Her bus had already started pulling out, and through the back window, she could slowly begin her new life, as she saw the police running towards her bus, becoming smaller and smaller, as the bus made its way to her new home.
