My bus drive to school has changed too. The sights that used to amuse me don't anymore. It rains a lot now. I think of the raindrops like teardrops sometimes. These days are long and lonely. The gray building that matched the color of the sky was what I called school. Today went a bit better. I actually saw a new girl. She was wearing a preppy dress with her hair tied up in a high ponytail. She looked kind and gentle. She was different than the rest of us, she shined. Just like how my mom used too. I took a seat in homeroom and I saw her walk in. Everyone stared at her. But I don't think she really cared. At lunch she sat with some other girls. I watched her as I sat down in the corner. She was so happy in a town that was so sad. Everyone here has lost something or someone and none of them ever move on. I think there to scared to try, I don't blame them. This girl didn't seem like she lost something she looked complete, unlike the rest of us. The school day ended and I noticed that she walked home. On the way back to my house, I had so many questions about her. "What's her name?" "Why is she so different?"
