The four dark shadows trailed along the path through the dark misty forest, the moon shined brightly as one of the figures held a lantern. Somehow one could tell they were quite, odd. It seemed as if it could fill one with an lunce of wonder and wanting more and more.

The figures of hope I am speaking of are known as the "Wonders", you may laugh as much as you like, but they are the rulers of a realm that it isn't spoken of as often it should. After all, they are quite famous. I would not blame you if you did not know them.

They had reached the end of the dark forest to be met by the light of a large castle, it's dark stone wall covered in ivy shadowed at night. The Wonders noved forward slowly before one of the cloaked figures stooped as he screamed in pain. He only screamed an unintelligible name, as he writhed and clutched his chest in utter agony.

The figure continued to scream, it seemed as if you could hear it from miles away, as he fell to the ground before going still, the screams died in his throat. The first Wonder had broke into a run and slid down next to the figures limp body, as the wonder checked for breathing. She did not hear a knife slowly be raised to her stomach as it plunged into her intestines ripping them to shreds as the Wonder coughed blood.

The figure slowly raised the knife to his throat, before driving the jagged knife in ripping down his throat, leaving the other figures cloaked in darkness completely stunned. Drops of water began to fall from the sky, thunder shook the ground, as tears fell from the dead womans exposed face, growling were heard from the out skirts of the forest, as wolves began to creep out from the woods smelling the delicious, iron, blood that poured out the victims wounds. The figures ran to the castle scared to their bones at what they had seen, as they pushed the large iron gates closed as if they were made of feathers, the poison of fear ran through their veins.

The gates held, as they were closed in time. They all said nothing, their exposed hands shook, on of the figures held their head by the sides, as though to keep in their sanity, they all watched the wolves claw the gates for what seemed like hours, as the wolves soon realized that the iron gates were too strong, and turned to the two bodies, as they begin to gnaw and tear at the meat on their bones.

Unable to watch for another second, all of the figures turn away, as they looked towards the dreadful looking castle. The tallest of the figures walked towards the heavy door, and graspedshakily in theur hand the heavy door knocker, and knocked loudly three times, as the heavy door was pulled open, as all the figures walked in, pulling down the hoods of their cloaks, as it began to rain even harder outside, as the door closed behind them, leaving them in the dimly lit foyer.

The night was such a beautiful one, as the rain soon stopped. A woman, who was dressed in one of the cloaks, smiled stepping onto the stone balcony, the cool night air set onto the castle as fog lurked on the ground below. Ivy covered the castle, even the balcony seemed to be drowned in it, though this ivy seemed different, and gave off a purple sheen. It went unnoticed by the girl that the ivy began to move, as she felt further onto the balcony by the railing.

From behind her, the thorns of the ivy on the balcony wrapped around her throat throwing her off the balcony as more and more thorns peirced her delicate skin, as bright red blood poured out, and gushed onto the ground, as she struggled helplessly, unable to let out a scream,

The tallest of the figures breathed in the open air of the other blacony in the castle, and smiled, the roses bloomed inthe moonlight of the castle, as he looked over to the side of the balcony, his eyes widened, seeing the bkdy of his comrade, slowly crushed by thorns. The male backed away in fear, before running towards the the room inside to warn the women sleeping in the bed. This never did happen, as he was dragged by the thorny ivy off the balcony, into a rose bush, the large thorns impaling him, as the wolves, after finishing off the two figures they had first seen, looked over to the male, that was unable to move, and smelled like blood. The wolves soon howled, before feasting on the body, as the male screamed in agony.
