Part 4: Trends & Typical Wattpader Habits

Just a warning, this part is basically myself ranting, and expressing my opinion. I apologize if I offended anyone.

Okay, we all know what is trending at the moment - lowercase letters! Yeah, no.

Just because lowercase letters are trending at the moment, you need to get out of that habit and you CERTAINLY need to take that habit out of your writing. It is immature, in my opinion.

I remember last year, if I saw a story on Wattpad with a title adorning all lowercase letters, I knew that the writer knew nothing about writing itself, but now I can't even tell the difference.

I am even seeing stories that have lowercase intended! That is even worse than the title!

I beg of you, please stop using so many lowercase letters before I begin to pray that they are banned.

And now, your typical Wattpader Habits that you should never follow.

1. Adding many stories and deleting them a week later - commitment is everything in a story. If an author has a history of deleting stories, I highly recommend you don't read the story because it most likely will be deleted. (For current writers in that habit, I suggest you stick to one or two stories, wait until one of them is finished, and then add your next one.)

2. Accusing everyone of plagiarism. (This is my ranting part haha) Honestly, I have seen many people constantly report people of copying stories. If I want to dedicate a chapter to them, I would be scared to do so because they might accuse me of stealing their story.

3. Too much sex omg my virgin eyes. I find that sex shouldn't be wasted, also known as "fucking". I think that it should be made into a valuable, intimate scene. For example, @Atlantis94 (writer of the KNIGHT saga) has written beautiful scenes, using the dick and vagina as "lock and key". That is a perfect way to make a sex scene seem so intimate, valuable, and beautiful.
