I felt good! I ran a few miles around the mansion. Then I danced and screamed the house down.

I didn't know!

I didn't know where Nam Ha and Aubrey were. I hated Aubrey though. Hopefully she died or something. Rotten little bitch. After all I've done for her!

I ran to the kitchen and searched through cabinets, clattering and clanging pots like a little kid. It sounded nice. Maybe I should start a band.

I was feeling pretty good. That's when Aubrey walked in.

Aubrey, like always, had her Australian accent and dark eyes that only ever turned bright for Tyson. Her teenage body was squished into a ruffly white dress that looked like it had been made for a nine year old or something. She smelled like old perfume.

"Laurie," Aubrey whined in her Australian accent, "Stop banging pots and pans!"

"Why?" I said.

"It's so loud!"

"I know. I'm musical. You're welcome."

"Stop it!" Aubrey protested. "I'm trying to read a book. I don't know what you're up to, but-"

"But life is short," I argued. My voice was a rush, "And sometimes, you've got to do what you wanna do! You know?"

Aubrey narrowed her eyes at me. "No I don't know. You sound like a vampire high on blood, Laurie."

"Thanks! Dance with me."

I jumped off the table with a smack and grabbed her clammy hands. "Ooh loodeedoodeedoodee."

"Are you drunk?" Aubrey squeaked.

"No!"

"You're high, then?"

"I'm not high." I laughed in her face. "I'm not high at all."

Aubrey jerked away, wiping her palms on her white dress. Her eyes were so big.

"Ew. Don't touch me. Drugs and alcohol are dirty. They taint your blood, too. Master won't like it."

"Ooh," I purred under my breath. "Will Tyson get mad at me? I'd like to see him angry."

"Let's find out," Aubrey threatened. "I'll go get Master right now!"

Aubrey turned to leave the room. I blocked her exit, smirking.

"He's not here right now. He's off somewhere, beating Paul's ass for me."

"What?" Aubrey said.

"Paul was haunting my nightmares. Tyson promised he'd take care of it." I smirked at her.

"Wait. Really?"

"Yes. Tyson's been oddly nice to me, lately."
