*beep beep beep*
I groan as I sit upthere not only because I'm tired but because I don't want to go to the land of death. I sit up, and go to get ready. I walk out the door and by the time I get to the bus and a car passes by. Just like clockwork. I get to school. My friends greet me with a mischievous grin. I inquire, "What'd you do this time".
Edward replied with a wider grin,"we told Riza you like her".
He broke out in a chuckle. I on the other hand was not amused. The bell rang and we went to our classes. First hour: strings. I went into the room and noticed that we had a substitute and that happened for the next class and the next. I thought it was weird but I layed it off. I went home, and there Aly messaged me and said,"do t you think it was weird that all the main teachers weren't here today".
I replied with, "yeah Ikr Mrs. Stewart is never gone but now she is".
"yeah it's crazy".
Another message popped up. It was from Kong.
"hey bro, you wanna play volleyball I'll pick you up"
I excitedly said "yeah! I'll be ready in 10"
I ran to my closet fishing out a pair of shorts and a t shirt. I grabbed my sport shoes from the shoe rack and head out the door. Kong was already there. I smirked as I opened the door and questioned,"ready to get spiked on?".
He laughed and said,"only if you canj land a good receive".
"Oooh Kong touché".
Kong laughed hysterically. I asked "So who else is coming?"
"Um Gabriel, Heez, Joseph, Jonathan and Sarah."
"oh, it's gonna be uneven"
"yeah".
When we got there the net was set up and Gabriel was waving at us. We ran towards them. I greeted,"YO, how are we going to do the teams".
Heez answered," it's gonna be me, Gabriel, Jonathan, Sarah. Then you and the rest".
I agreed then we got nto position.
It was their serve, and Gabriel was serving. He threw up the ball and slammed it it came all the way to the back where I was at leaped to receive it. My hand connected with the ball and it flew up into the air. It was coming down onto Joseph. He hit it up. "it's not over!!" I yelled.
The ball came flying towards Kong it connected with his upper arm and shot up and over to the other side of the net. It flew to Gabriel, and he hit it up into the air. It was dropping down onto Sarah. She set the ball and I saw Heez running up for a spike. He was spiking from the right side so I took a step to the right. Just as Heez was about to spike Kong jumped with the intention of blocking the ball. Heez spiked. Kong had jumped a little to late so the ball had grazed the top of his fingers. The ball was coming to my right and it was coming fast so I dashed to the side and dived for the ball. By the time I opened my eyes the ball was already descending. Joseph set the ball to the middle of the front, and called out my name. I ran and jumped into the air. I was high up and I could see the ball coming into my range. I could also see that Sarah and Jonathan were coming to block me. But it was to late. I spiked. I spike the ball and it flew to the top right corner of the court. Heez had no time to react. I dropped down to the ground. Two feet firm onto the grass. I was smiling. I looked up and said,"get Shit on".
After the game I went home. I finished up some algebra homework and quickly got ready for bed. I jumped onto my bed and closed my eyes. I was ready for another day.
