"RUN!!", I yelled.
We ran back inside and Edward went upstairs. He came back with two pistols and a rifle. I looked in awe. He threw me a pistol and Suno a pistol. Edward looked at his rifle and mumbled, "this things gonna eat some lead".
"how did you even get these", I questioned.
"my dad has a gun cabinet", he replied.
I went to the livingroom and looked out the window the creature wasn't there anymore. I heard crackling in the back of the house. I smelled smoke. "Suno check the back", I yelled running to the hall.
"There is no back!", Suno replied.
I looked and realized there really wasn't one. It was in flames and the face of a giant bat was looming above where a roof used to be. It's eyes were bright red like flames and it's presence was hot. I knew it was dangerous. My instincts told me so. "We need to get out of here!", I shouted to Suno and Edward.
They both nodded and me and Suno grabbed our bikes and helped Edward open up his garage for his bike. We rode off we got pretty far on the street but the creature followed us. I finally got a good look at it. It was a giant bat with wings of black flame. It's eyes were bright red. I kept pedalling and pedalling. My legs stung but I knew if I stopped I would be killed. I took the gun out of my pocket looked back and shot it. The bullet tore a hole straight throw the membrane on the bat's wing. It screeched in a loud unsettling noise. Similar to nails on chalkboards. I turned around and pedaled faster. But i was falling behind. Edward and Suno was I front of me. I tried to keep up, but my legs burned. I looked back and almost touching me was the Bat. The presence was unbearable I was hot. Really hot. I turned around and pedaled faster. I wouldn't let this be my end. I could see a shadow coming over me. I tried to pedal faster but my legs gave in. I could feel the bat's saliva dripping on my shoulder. Suno and Edward were yelling. Telling me to go faster. Finally Suno yelled in desperation,"SOMEONE HELP US". Time seemed to freeze. I inched forward. 1 inch. 2 inches. 3 inches. I was gaining ground. On my left a giant falcon flew to tackle the bat. They fell to the hill on the right. They were battling. Lightning came crashing down on the bat and fire was spewing out of its eyes. I calmed myself and kept pedaling. We all kept pedaling. We got to the school and we saw a couple of kids. We stopped at the entrance and looked around. I looked at Suno and Edward. We were to shocked to say anything. But we didn't have time to recover. A flock of crows flew by. A heavy wind followed them. As well as a few heads. A couple kids screamed and tried running but the flock was circiling us. The circle was getting smaller and smaller. I looked around and locked eyes with Riza. "Riza get on!".
She was terrified. I could tell. But she got on my bike and I commanded Suno and Edward to follow me. I shot at one of the crows and busted through the circle. I set a course for my house. It was pretty peaceful going back. Nothing was chasing us and nothing was trying to tear off our face. I could tell Riza was scared because she was holding on to my shirt. Suno looked at me and smiled. I gestured her to shut up. Riza finally spoke,"where are we going", she asked.
"my house", I answered.
Edward jokingly said,"if you know what I mean".
Suno laughed. She was practically dieing. She had to stop pedaling for a moment. I looked back at Riza and she was bright red. I quickly turned forward and started to pedal again. Good thing we didn't die today I thought. At the corner of my eye I saw a couple of kids run up with bats. They swung on Suno.
