First Date

Kisses Pov

I was lying on the bed in the girls room with the other girls. I am trying to make myself sleep but I can't.

Lately I've been slowly accepting the fact that Marco is not for me. But the feelings are still there.

Before I totally close my eyes, I heard my name being called.

"Kisses?" I looked up to where the voice came from.

And it's Edward.

"Hmmm?" I asked him. These past few days too, Edward was opening more to us. If maybe I still have something for him, I'll go gushing all over it but things became twisted.

Well, now at least we have the chance to know each other more. Not like just saying hello, feeling like total strangers.

"Come on. You need to come with me." Edward said grinning behind the half opened door.

"Huh? What's happening?" I said giving back a chuckle.

"Nah, it's a secret. Come on." He said walking towards me and reaching me up for me to finally stand up. I reached for his hand and he blindfolded me.

"Where are we going?" I asked but smiling anyway.

"Somewhere." I heard him say chuckling.

He guided me to I don't know where. He placed both of his hands on my shoulders as he was in my back. "Straight ahead. Just walk, I'm here." He secured.

When I think we finally stopped, he talked. "Alright, let's get this blindfolds off." Then he removed it.

And I didn't expected what I saw. A dinner date just like in Barcelona. Roses and petals, candles around beside the pool, a blanket. A date.

"What is this Ed?" I couldn't help myself from smiling.

"We're having a date." He said then smiled.

"What? How?" I can't believe it.

"Kathyrn and Daniel pick two housemates for a dinner date before they left and they picked the both of us." Edward answered.

"Whoa. Wow." I said still making myself believe on what's happening. "This is gonna be my first date." I didn't knew I blurted it out.

"Really? Well, then I would make it special for you." He said then smiled.

"Yes, thank you." I replied.

"So let's sit?" He asked and I nodded.

"Look at them. They want to go here. I think they want to join us." I said pointing to the other housemates who are looking our way from afar.

"If they come any closer, then this won't be a date at all." Edward said amused.

I just shrugged with a smile. "So what are we gonna do?"

"Well, let's get to know each other?" Ed kinda asked. "You know, I'm not used on having dates." He grinned.

"Then we're both innocent eh?" I teased.

"Seems like that way." He chuckled. "So let's start?"

I just stare at him amused. "How?"

"Hi." He smiled and offered his hand. "I'm Edward."

I chuckled and laughed for a moment before I respond. "Hello, I'm Kisses." I said then shook his hand.

"So how's your night?" He asked.

"It's surprising literally." I smiled.

I stared at him as he speak so animatedly. He is really handsome just like I've knew before. With his button shirt half open. Well, that's hot. And I'm like.. I'm in a mess.

"Uhmm can I go to the comfort room first?"

"Oh, uhm.. Sure." Edward said. "I'll be waiting here."

"Thanks, I'll be fast." I said then hurried to the girls room. I put on some make up to freshen up a bit. I brushed my hair and put on some cologne. There, I'm all set.

"Ooops. Sorry. That took me so long." I said to Ed.

"Nah, its fine. That was just ten minutes." He said like teasing.

I pouted at him. "Sorry."

"No really. I can wait longer than anyone else could."

"That's sweet of you." I commented.

"You're just the only one who appreciated." Ed said seriously.

"Thanks. Just so you know you're worth to be appreciated. Every one else is." I sincerely said.

"So what's you favorite food?"

"Well, pancakes." I squealed.

"Oh, that's rare." He chuckled. "So let's eat?"

"Okay. This food can't wait to fill my tummy." I joked. Ed laugh.

"What a cheesy joker you are. Didn't knew that." He grinned then teased.

I half punch him in the arm. We talked for minutes and eat. I knew a lot about him. About her sister. Ate Laura, about his parents. And even the things he want and his hobbies. More of it are his lessons learned in life and things people didn't knew about him.

Of all the time that I knew him, I just saw him as a man of wisdom. Now what I saw in him is someone who is passionate about life. A person who is focused. A gentleman who respect people. A kind hearted guy who has his crazy sides. He can make me laugh. There's so much about him that I don't have any idea at all. I thank this opportunity that I am able to have this moment with him.

We stopped talking when we heard a slow song played.

"So I guess this is the time for a dance." Edward said jumping up from his seat.

I balanced my weight and lifted myself up to, but he still helped me up. See right there? A gentleman.

We swayed to the music as I stare at him. If before, I can't stand to look at his eyes, now I just chuckle in front of him. And he do the same.

"Crazy." He murmured.

"No, I'm not." I pouted.

"You are." Ed teased. "It's cute."

"Lalalalaa." I said pretending not to listen at him.

"Why?" He asked amused.

"Nothing." I just said. Last time someone called something about me cute. I fell.

"Thank you for this night." I said with a big smile.

"No. Thank you." He said looking at me. "Now I had a time to know you more."

I replied with a smile.

"If ever you need someone, I'm just here. I know there are things that runs in your mind you wanna talk about."

"Yeah I will. I'm just here too. I hope after this, we won't be distant again."

"Promise, no more distance." Edward said smiling at me gently.

We end up hugging each other.
