Aaliyah dearly loved astronomy and astrology, it was her passion she wanted to pursue in life.
Stars would always catch her attention. There would be times where she would take late night walks and stumble into trees, cars, even garbage cans.
Why? Because her head would be gazing up at the sky, her eyes fixated on the radiating glitter.
An only child she was.
Always falling asleep on her dark blue cotton blanket, mom would get nervous as to where her daughter was.
To find out that she is sound asleep with a lime green caterpillar crawling on her leg.
Her worst nights were when the sparkling glitter was covered up by the inky clouds.
But this all changed when Aaliyah was prescribed the wrong pills.
Insomnia is meant to be treated, she was drained. Lack of sleep is dangerous, just like power.
Take the wrong pills months on end and you'll find yourself wanting to be dead.
