Chapter four

He wouldn't lie. His ribs still hurt but he could cope with it, he had to. There was no turning back now he was in Afghanistan, the resting place of so many of his friends. What Jay was not expecting was to see Mouse on the other end of his scope.  What the hell was Mouse doing there?

BACK IN CHICAGO

"Hello Will speaking."
What the hell why is Mouse here?
"I couldn't let you go on a suicide mission Jay."
Why did you have to get Mouse involved for he will just get hurt.
"That's why Jay. You have the wrong attitude. You aren't thinking straight and it will get you killed."
All Will could hear was the beep telling him that Jay had hung up.

AFGHANISTAN

"Halstead get ready, eyes open."
Jay couldn't reply before he heard the explosion and saw Mouse. He was so lifeless and it was all because of him. He had to end this. Jay gabbed his rifle and ran into the smoke not caring about what was there. All he wanted was to be with Mouse. His saviour. And that was how they found him.
