As we walk through the plains I here Gabe ask. "Are you okay we can stop and have a break if you want?" I nod.
We sit down and eat some left over chicken that was in a container inside my bag. Once we the chicken we gone we started walking again. "Gabe? What are we gonna do if we're lost forever?" Everything went quiet then he whispered and turned to me. "I honestly have no idea..."
The sun was setting and we still hadn't found any civilisation. Gabe got out his phone to check the time. "It's dead!" Gabe through it as far as he could. "Gabe that was your ph-*SPLASH* without talking we ran towards the noise eventually coming to a long winding river. I bent down to take a drink. "It's delicious Gabe try it!" He bent over and took a sip nodding in response.
We lay down beneath the stars. The flowing water of the river calmed me. Soon the darkness consumed me and I fell into a peaceful sleep.
