Summer

Civilisation

I sit picking at the grass waiting for the train I here a noise.
"Summer it's the train!"
Gabe pulls me and we walk inside. We sit in the back. The ticketer comes.
"Where are you two going to?"
I look at Gabe then he answers politely with.
"Good afternoon sir we would like to go to the nearest town."
The ticketer nods and gives us the little slips of paper.
"How did you fo that Gabe!?"
He looks at me confused as if he was wondering what I said.
"Mm my parents where very umm polite if that's how I can explain it?"
I nod and the train starts. I look out the window into the county side. Will we ever find our way back home? To Kuro to Emily to Molly?
"We'll be home soon."
Gabe puts his hand on mine with a smile then I remember something exiting.
"Gabe I'm 15 tomorrow!"
Gabe smiles sadly.
"Sorry I couldn't get you anything."
"It's fine don't worry!"
The train stops at a small town and Gabe and I get out.
"It's uh cozy?"
I turn to Gabe trying to hide my disappointment. We walk out into the markets not knowing what to expect.
