Chapter 7 - ''I want to ask you something''

ALEXIS POV

Suddenly Alexis was stopped by a voice coming behind her ‘’Alexandria wait!’’

She turned around and stopped, and saw Adrian running after her, he was running fast. When he stopped he was breathing heavy ‘’why… are… you… in… a rush!’’ saying it between breaths.

‘’haha and here I thought quidditch players are in good shape!’’ she was making fun of him, but he never took her serious, when she teased him.

‘’don’t mock me! You’re the one who runs like a devil!’’ he smiled at her, after he caught his breath back.

‘’okay okay I’ll stop. So what’s up?’’ she turned to casual.

He was looking at her, with his brown chocolate eyes. She never really looked at Adrian like she does now. His height was also perfect, and so was his personality. He never really talks to other girls, only with Alexis. She never understood why he did not socialize with girls, first she thought he was guy, but then that could never be true. He was way to guyish to be gay.

‘’So I wanted to ask you something…’’ he was pausing, he was actually nervous. Alexis have never seen him that nervous.

‘’Is something wrong? Are you sick?’’ She quickly put her hand on his forehead, but he just took her hand, and held it into his.

‘’Not don’t worry I’m fine, I’m not sick.’’ He smiled, looking at her hand. ‘’I wanted to ask something. You know that everyone is going to Hogsmead… and I wanted to ask… you know… if you want to go with me?’’ he finally asked.

There she stood, did not know what to say. She was happy that he asked her, before somebody else. But who should that somebody else be? If that somebody else was Malfoy, I would definitely NOT go with him! Why the hell am I thinking about that idiot anyway? He should not even be in my head!

‘’ehm… are you okay, Alexandria?’’ Alexis did not know that she was spaced out for a minute, she must say something.

‘’Yes, yeah I’m fine…’’ She shook her head, trying to come back to earth.

‘’You don’t have to go with me, if you already had other plans!’’ He waved his hands, trying to look not disappointed, but he was bad at that.

‘’Yes! I mean no, I don’t have any other plans, I would love to go with you! I think we would have some fun.’’ Those words made him happy, his whole face lid up.

DRACO POV

Wait what?! That idiot asked her out? He cannot do that! I forbid him to go with her! She is mine! Nobody has the rights to take anything from me, especially HER!

Draco was hiding behind the stairs. He could hear them talk by the stairs, he understood clearly every word that there was said. And clearly he could not like those words that was said. He finally understood the feelings inside him, what was boiling to get out. Jalousie. Love. Desire. But in the same time, he had feeling that showed anger towards Pucey, hurt that she said yes to him and afraid she would not accept his love.

Suddenly they both gave each other a hug and they said goodbye. Draco had to catch Pucey first, before he finds Alexis. He saw that Pucey was going towards the quidditch yard outside.

When he caught up with him, he took him rough to the closest wall, and put him against the wall ‘’What the hell was that about?!’’ Draco was mad, he was boiling with anger. He could easily kill him right now right here.

‘’And what the hell is wrong with you, let go Draco!’’ Pucey tried to calm him down to sense.

‘’Why did you ask her out?!’’

‘’Oh so that was you who was listening.’’ Pucey smirked.

Draco did not like smirking, he was the only one that was allowed  to smirk at people ‘’What?’’ he let go him, he was caught.

‘’I knew that someone was listening to Alexandria and mines conversation. Never knew you would be the one sneaking around.’’ still had his smirk on his face.

‘’Shut up Pucey!’’

‘’So why were you listening?’’

‘’None of your business! And let me tell you only ONE thing Pucey! Stay away from HER!’’ He hoped that a warning should be enough from him.

‘’What? You’re warning me not to see her? I don’t understand you Draco? Why are you saying that? Did I do something to you?’’ Adrian looked confused, but deep inside he knew what Draco was implying to, he just wanted to see if he confesses.

Draco did not say a word, so he just turned away from Pucey and went back to his room.

ALEXIS POV

Okay it’s tomorrow! I have to have something cute on! Why am I thinking like that? It is just Adrian! But he is still a boy, and boys like cute girls. Right…?

‘’Hey you better slow down, don’t trip over your own clothes, that are lying on the floor. And when are at the topic, should you not begin clean a little in this room. Try start with picking up your clothes.’’ Hermione was sitting on her bed, looking how hysterical Alexis was running around.

‘’I know, I know! I will! I promise! But right now I have to find my scarf!’’ Alexis looked under the big pile of clothes at the corner, hoped to find it there. And she was happy that she found it.

‘’YES! Found it!’’ She was hurrying taking it on and was about to go outside the room, until she remembered Hermione still sitting there. She was totally ignored by Alexis.

‘’Im sooooo sorry! Here, let’s go!’’ She took her hand and they both were at the common room, where they met Ron and Harry.

‘’Oh Harry you haven’t heard! She has a date with Pucey!’’ Hermione bursted the secret out.

‘’What?!’’ Ron and Harry echoed together.

‘’yeah I am, but I have to hurry, he is maybe already waiting for me. So I’ll see you guys down in Hogsmead, if we bump into each other.’’ And she was gone like the wind. She hurried down to the stairs, and as she guessed he was already waiting for her.

‘’Sorry that I was late, but I just couldn’t find the damn scarf!’’

The day went really good. She knew from the start that she would have fun with Adrian. Adrian was a good company. He always made her laugh and smile. Sometimes it made her hurt to smile that much.
