Once Ash was outside he crouched down and passed by the window so he couldn't be seen. He made his way to the back of his flat, he went to his window and slid out the piece of metal holding it open and stealthily vaulted into his bedroom. Walked to the side of his bed and pulled out a piece of the floor board revealing a very well made compartment with food bowls and small beds, one of these beds had a small little yellow electric mouse his name was pikachu, ash and pikachu had been life long best-friends and either of them wouldn't hesitate to give there life for the other. 'Pika pi' pikachu screamed happily as he jumped onto Ash's shoulder and rubbed his head off his. Ash's smiled warmly as he scratched his best friends chin 'in sorry about that buddy but you know what Ron will do if he finds you' Ash then bend down and picked up Six other poke balls and clipped them to his belt. He then made sure everything was the way it was before he came in and left through the window replacing the slide of metal. He then walked to the primary school sapphire attended, It had been the first Time Ash had been to the school since he was twelve, three years too be exact. A few moms stood by the gate nattering amongst themselves.
'Where's your mom Ash?' Someone asked
'Off her face' Ash replied a little annoyed
There was no way Ash was covering for her after she had kicked him out of the flat, he saw the other moms exchange glances.
'I want Overwatch for the PS4' one of them asked. 'Can she get it?'
'Course half price, cash only' Ash replied irritated by what his mother did  he hated everything about the position he had in life considering the only thing he wanted to do was help people but his mother did the exact opposite.. there was nothing he could do about it because he loved his mother and she was the only real family he had.
'Will you remember,Ash?'
'No give me a piece of paper with your name and phone numbers and I'll pass it on'
The gaggle of moms starting jotting things down. Jordan's, jewellery,latest video games. Ash stuffed the papers into his school blazer.
The kids starting coming out.
Nine year old sapphire was the last out of her class. She had her hands tucked in her bomber jacket. Sapphire had raven hair, same as Ash, but she had bright blue eyes instead of auburn like Ash, as that's how she got her name.
'I hate that old bat' sapphire said when she got near Ash
'Who?' Ash laughed
'Ms reed she gave us sums and I did them in two minutes and she made me sit and wait for all the dumb kids to finish.
Ash and sapphire where both unnaturally gifted at Maths for there ages and lack of studying the subject
'Why are you here anyway?'sapphire asked
'Moms drunk... again' Ash sighed
'She's not supposed to drink until after the operation' sapphire gasped
'Don't tell me that' Ash shrugged
' your dads indoors. Mom gave us money to go get something to eat. He should be gone by the time we get home.'
'Pika pi' pikachu said happily as he seen sapphire
'Oh hi there pikachu' she replied happily as she rubbed his check.
'I didn't even notice you there on Ash's shoulder' 

They ended up in a burger place. Ash got a double cheeseburger meal. Sapphire only wanted onion rings and a coke. She wasn't that hungry and pikachu ended up eating them for her. After they had finished they started to walk home when Ash turned into his street it was dark. Two guys came out from behind a hedge. But Ash had already sensed there presence he turned sharply
'Skiddo vine whip'
'Wartortle water gun'
Ash stood calmly and fist pumped as pikachu jumped for his shoulder into the air the two only needed to exchange  glances. Pikachu fired a huge bolt of lightning at the two Pokemon immediately knocking them both unconscious. Both men watched in fear eyes dilating as Ash composed himself both hands in his parka jacket. One of the man pulled out a sword  and ran at Ash. Ash pushed Sapphire behind him as he pulled a short blade from the inside of his parka jacket, but this was no ordinary blade it was made of compressed water. with one hand ash expertly grabbed the mans wrist and with his other he sliced the mans sword clean in half. The man panicked and dropped the rest of the sword, grabbed his friend, returned there Pokémon and ran. The Compressed water sword evaporated in Ash's hand. Sapphire quickly ran up to Ash and hugged him tightly hands shaking a little, Ash returned  the hug and rubbed the back of her head until she calmed down
'Ash what was that in your hand.. I mean where did you get it.. how' she asked him as they walked home  her voice still a little shaky
Ash smiled brightly at her
'That sapphire... was my unique bond with Greninja'
