Ludendorff walked past the two in a straight, intimidating stance. He then turns around, "Hey!" Panzer and Gunter shake themselves at him. Ludendorff: "If you disobey this order, you will be shot!" His words ringed in Panzer's ears "y-yes sir.." Ludendorff then waved the prisoners to follow him to the center of the city, them being held my by rifles behind them. They vanished in the fog, and the two soldiers were alone. Gunter stood still, cigarette in his mouth. Panzer squeezed the handle of his MP. Gunter: "Let's move" Panzer turned to him, disgusted and confused. He was silent. Gunter: "Move it private!" Panzer and Gunter then started marching to their objective, City Hall.
As they were marching, they pass by a large fountain. Panzer moved to it, eager to see what's inside, as a blood trail leads to it. The smell reeked. Like decomposed bodies. Panzer looks over the bar slowly, and his suspicions were true. Bloody, decomposed Russian civilians, laying. Peaceful in death. Panzer arched and quickly looked away. He dropped his gun and held his paws over his mouth, fighting to hold back tears. The corporal saw the pain in his eyes, and he stood there silent. They started their March once again, arriving to city Hall. There, they saw a large building like platform, overlooking the city. Ludendorff and the 9 prisoners were on it. All of the POWs had nooses over their neck, standing on the edge of the cliff like structure. Ludendorff was giving a speech in front of 2,000 Nazi soldiers. Including Panzer and Gunter. Ludendorff: "Soldiers of the third Reich! Today, we have proven that our iron fist was no match for these communist dogs! The greatness of our führer have driven us, to take this land! No one is stopping us from taking this wretched city!" Panzer looked up at Ludendorff, thousands of Soldiers cheering, including Gunter. "SEIG HAI! SEIG HAI!!" Panzer knew that this cause, was unnecessary and evil. Burning bodies and throwing civilians in fountains to waste away in a city that once excited. Tears ran down his cheek out of anger and hatred. He growled, knowing that it takes one bullet to kill Ludendorff. He started to grow the courage. And he raised his gun slowly, to shoot the general....
